Few corrections
1-we need um baldy by the masses (Pakistan did recently acquired some more Cobras from US and like i said we dont need hundreds of them, just somewhere 25-40)
2-i think they use a chinese model which is a licensed copy of the eurocopter (Thats Z9C which resembles dolphin -french- Z10 resembles Eurocopter)
3-we should also look into indigenous helis (would you build a whole factory for a some 100 pieces of output?)

Well buddy heres my take....

1. Whether the target is miscreants or indians (lol it rhymes) i think that an attack helicopter by the masses would be the right choice for the simple reason of covering the troops on the ground. According to our Quaid, he who controls the air controls the battle field.. and fighter jets are not right in the action enough to cover the men on the ground or to even see them for that matter. Pakistan has a deficit when it comes to troops vs india.... so the best bet for victory (ie Free Kashmir) would be to invest in technology. Attack helicopters can wipe out all mechanized infantry, regular infantry, and artillery units... something that is very difficult with to do from the ground.

3. 100 peieces or more for us... the rest for export = mo money mo money, mo money ma nigga.

Yeah I agree Pakistan must have her own attack helicopters, military budget is scarce, and buying is not the solution (remind me of certain country in this world...) The learning process of developing one's own aerospace technology is priceless.

Hi,

You see the problem lies with export-----we are afraid that once out of our hands, it will fall into the hands of the indians---the technology will leak----the same way we are unable to market the FC1 / JF17 for now---.

If that is not the case then being a small nation, we don't have the luxury to offer loans---neither we have the clout to close the deals with 'other' incentives---. It is better to buy the helicopters---they are easier to purchase as they are not considered to change the balance of power.

Since Pakistan is getting more upgraded Cobras, I think next in line are Turkish Attack helo, I don't see China Z-10 up till 2020. Pakistan cannot afford to keep more then 2 Types in service due to maintenance issues and costs. But in the end its Pak Army that'll decide the future.

You need gunships for using against terrorists and Taliban attackers more than using it against us. Dhruv gunships are primarily going to be dealing with militant threat inside the country and those who make the mistake of coming from outside. Nothing more nothing less.

Right now, you need to consider your options looking at TTP and other groups rather than us. If Z-10 can help you fight them, go for it.

Yes, of course we need attack helicoterts to serve on both sides eastern border and western to tackle incoming threat.one side is mountainous area and other is desert area as well plain fields area.

Not necessarily. The Rudra will be used as an armed troop/supplies' carrier whereas the LCH will be the one which will be used in Anti Armour and/or anti infantry roles as it has better avionics(for the job that is!), Armour and wider array of weaponry.
The Rudra will be used in battlefields which are at very high altitudes(Siachen,Kargil etc) as i think that the Rudra has higher service ceiling than the LCH and the fact that only the Army Air Corps will operate the Rudra vindicates my point.
The real threat to Pak Armoured divisions thrusting into Indian territory will be the Hi-Lo combo of Apache/Mi28(decision in december, hopefully:P) and LCH.
And as many members here have mentioned,a duel between two choppers is highly unlikely so countering them by using MANPADS and QRSAM(Short Ranged) would be viable:)
Off topic-IA lacks the vast number of new MANPADS which Pakistan Army have (Stingers,Anza series etc) which IMO must be looked into ASAP.
My 2P worth:)

Mil Mi-24, and 28 are good attack helicopters. Probably two of the finest modern examples of attack helicopters, and cost efficient. I'm sure Pakistan may be able to buy it off shelves without Indian Interference.

When US decide to sanction on Pakistan anytime, Turkey will not supply T-129s in respect to US sanctions pressures. Think about it.

Turkey being part of NATO and also partnership with Italy working on this helicopter, I would suggest Pakistan should buy on Chinese Z-10s without worrying. We must make wise decisions.

i think the z-10 or russian stuff will be suiting pakisan well

Pakistan is suffering in the sense of funds... but again armed forces specially the PA do have it but are slacking in the terms of getting attack gunships (Heli) why i just don't understand and again what are our choices?

Apache block-3 is great bird in Indian hands now.PA should acquire something to balance this threat.
-French-euro Tiger
-Russian Ka-50
-Super cobra
could be a good choice if we can go through for a deal of about 30-50 helicopters.
