The CIWS (Type 730) on the Pakistani vessel are without optronics in contrast with the Chinese vessel for example. Do they belong to a new type or they will be fitted with them later?

I believe that the class has inferior armament with Chinese analogues. Old anti-aircraft misisle system and CIWS that they share optronics.
There is optronics. Without that how would the gun shoot?, this CIWS is not a machine gun that it is operated manually by like DMS sight .... This type 730b antenna and all are at the centre of both sides u can see it in first picture. This is off mount sensor system which means no sensors but This CIWS uses Electro-optics which is a branch of technology involving components, devices and systems which operate by modification of the optical properties of a material by an electric field. Thus it concerns the interaction between the electromagnetic (optical) and the electrical (electronic) states of materials. and it also has radar and F22p is first to incorporate this. Other type730 CIWS in PLAN currently uses optical sensor which in china is old tech the. This off mount system is their lates development and their new ships will have it.some questions..regarding f22p defence system , comparison & possible upgradation needs

OK does the both CIWS shoot same target at a time or it has ability to divide the targets like for example 2 core processors working together in multi-application environment?A normal type 730 has an electro-optical director and a radar director mounted directly onto the gunmount. A pair of Type 730 gunmounts is typically support by a dedicated fast rotating high-data rate SR-64 search/track radar.
On the F22p we find 2 gunmounts, which are essentially Type 730 without both on-mount directors. These are aimed with 1 elop-director and/or 1 radar director, which are identical to the ones on Type 730. They are supported by a fast-rotating SR-60 search/track radar.
While the F22P CIWS fit provides some economy over that of e.g. the Type 054A, it has a less advanced supporting search track/radar. While the F22P still allows the ship to use both guns simulaneously (one using the eloppdirector, the other the radar director) there is some loss of flexibility. E.g. when operating under EMCON conditions, there is only 1 fire control channel for 2 guns than 2 if these where Type 730. Also, when dedecting sea skimmers, a radar director sometimes experiences the problem of multipathing: it sees the target just above water but also a reflection of the target via the water surface and can't decided which of the two to lock on to. One solution is the use of a secondary elop-director, which has no such problem and can help improve the system performance either by taking over, or by working together with the radar director.

I suppose each director could lay a gun on a target, allowing the system to engage 2 different targets simultaneously. However, this capability is limited in that there may be some conditions under which the radar director will perform better than the elop director (or vice versa), in which case 1 director will be able to direct 1 or both guns onto only a single target. If you are going to put 2 guns on 1 target anyway, you would use both directors to track that target, but suffer some limitation in firing arc of the the 2 guns combined.OK does the both CIWS shoot same target at a time or it has ability to divide the targets like for example 2 core processors working together in multi-application environment?
