Featured Pakistan Navy ATR72 at Mönchengladbach Germany for conversion into a Sea Eagle

Turkey and Pakistan can pair up with Qatar too. In any case, this is a collective failure.

No one has failed.

1) The deal is nowhere near even being seriously discussed, Indian media reports claiming things are "signed" or "imminent" almost always tend to be BS...
2) As pointed out one can still buy second hand airframes and convert them, just like we do with SAAB 2000 and Erieye
3) Absolutely no point in Pakistan buying Embrarer. Pak commercial market for airliners is still tiny, also Pakistan does not have the finance or commercial infrastructure to support global airliner sales (even Chinese are finding this slow moving)
4) There are plenty, and I mean plenty of alternatives to this plane that can offer similar capability. Personally I would go for a Gulfstream that PAF/PA had experiance on

I was more thinking in terms of buying some of Embraer's defence and VIP lines, which are both directly relevant to us. No need to bring any major production to Pakistan, but wrestle some ownership over the Lineage 1000E, Praetor, and C390 where possible.

Now if any of that comes with Embraer's experience in managing supply chains, aircraft design and development work, etc, then that'd be good too.

.
any updates on the 3rd RAS-72? and further ATR-72’s getting converted to planned 5-6 units?
