Mostly people call you extremist but when an individual understand that committing blasphemy is like hurting the sentiment of the horde of people. And when they are aware of the consequences so why even be disrespectful to someone’s religion at first place?

If there was debate and discussion on amending the constitution to include such an un-Islamic provision in 1974, then there can absolutely be debate and discussion on amending the constitution to remove such an un-Islamic provision now and in the future, until such laws and amendments repugnant to Islam are removed from the constitution.

Please remember that at one point there was a lot of opposition to reforming the laws that called for '4 male witnesses' to prove sexual assault, and there was (and is) opposition to a minimum age of marriage, but reforms occurred and will continue to occur.

still at my weakest argument is it will be understandable if a person find guilty in supreme court of pakistan and then killed . how can someone to be killed when case was in session court and not yet even proven guilty there ?he was just accused only .i can accuse khadim rizvi from his speeches he is blasphemer .

sir courts of LAW have always in trouble .
court of law - a court decide with in law books . if a murder punishment is written 1 day jail then judges have to give 1 day jail punishment

court of justice - judges will decide what is justice and serve it

کچھ دن پہلے ٹوئٹر پر ایک پرانے کلاس فیلو سے رابطہ ہوا۔ اچھا لڑکا تھا، دو سمسٹر تو باقاعدگی سے کمپس آتا رہا، پھر اچانک ہی غائب ہو گیا۔

اب اچانک اتنے برس بعد اس نے پیغام بھیجا تو مجھے خوشی بھی ہوئی اور حیرانی بھی۔ تجسس کی خاطر پوچھ ہی لیا کہ وہ یونیورسٹی سے اچانک غائب کیوں ہو گیا تھا۔ کہنے لگا، ’شاید تم نہیں جانتی، میں احمدی ہوں۔ یونیورسٹی میں کچھ لڑکوں کو میرے عقیدے کا پتہ چل گیا تھا، انہوں نے مجھے مارنے کا منصوبہ بنایا تھا۔ ایک خیر خواہ نے بروقت مجھے اس منصوبے سے آگاہ کر دیا۔ میں راتوں رات دوسرے شہر چلا گیا اور واپس مڑ کر نہیں آیا۔

'کچھ سال بعد ملک سے باہر چلا گیا اور اب یہیں رہ رہا ہوں۔ شادی شدہ ہوں، بچے بھی ہیں۔ اچھا کماتا ہوں، اچھا کھاتا ہوں لیکن ڈگری ادھوری چھوڑنے کا دکھ اب بھی باقی ہے۔ اگر ان لڑکوں نے میرے خلاف منصوبہ بندی نہ کی ہوتی تو آج میں بھی گریجویٹ ہوتا۔‘

مجھے اس قصے کا کچھ علم نہیں تھا۔ اب پتہ چلا تو میرے رونگٹے کھڑے ہو گئے۔ مجھے سمجھ نہیں آیا کہ میں اسے کیا جواب دوں۔ وہ جس خوف سے گزرا ہو گا، میں اس کا اندازہ بھی نہیں لگا سکتی تھی اور میرے وہ کلاس میٹ، انہیں تو پتہ بھی نہیں ہوگا کہ ان کے جوش کی وجہ سے کسی کو کس قدر تکلیف اٹھانی پڑی۔

ڈیڑھ سال پہلے ایک آرٹیکل کے سلسلے میں کچھ احمدیوں سے بات ہوئی تو انہوں نے بھی ملتی جلتی باتیں بتائی تھیں۔ ایک صاحب نے بتایا کہ انہیں کرائے کا گھر ڈھونڈنے میں بہت مشکل ہوتی ہے۔ جیسے ہی مالک مکان کو ان کے عقیدے کا علم ہوتا ہے وہ انہیں مکان دینے سے انکار کر دیتا ہے۔ ایک اور صاحب نے بتایا کہ محلے کے بچے ان کے بیٹے کو کتا کہہ کر پکارتے ہیں۔ وہ کسی سے شکایت بھی نہیں کر سکتے ورنہ محلے والے ان کا جینا محال کر دیں گے۔

ہماری یہ نفرت احمدیوں تک ہی محدود نہیں، بلکہ دیگر مذہبی اقلیتیں بھی اس کا برابر شکار ہوتی ہیں۔ ایک دفعہ ہندو پنچایت کے ایک رکن سے بات ہوئی۔ وہ اپنی بیٹی کے داخلے کے حوالے سے خاصے پریشان تھے۔ انہوں نے بتایا کہ انہیں اپنی بیٹی کا سکول ہر سال تبدیل کرنا پڑتا ہے۔ انہوں نے سستے، مہنگے ہر طرح کے سکول آزمائے، ہر جگہ بچے ان کی بیٹی کو بت پرست کہہ کر ہراساں کرتے تھے۔
بچی سکول سے روتے ہوئے واپس آتی تھی۔ اگلے روز اسے سکول بھیجنا ایک الگ کٹھن مرحلہ ہوتا تھا۔ جیسے تیسے کر کے اس کی پڑھائی کا سلسلہ بس چل رہا تھا۔ جس ملک کے بچوں کے دلوں میں اتنی نفرت موجود ہو، اس ملک کے بڑوں کے دل کا حال کیا ہو گا۔ ان بڑوں کے سامنے خواجہ آصف اقلیتوں کے حقوق کی بات کریں گے تو ان پر توہینِ مذہب کا ہی الزام لگے گا۔

آئین کے مطابق ختمِ نبوت پر ایمان نہ رکھنے والے غیر مسلمان ہیں۔ اوکے ٹھیک ہو گیا، پر انسان تو ہیں، پاکستانی تو ہیں، یا ہم ان کی یہ حیثیت قبول کرنے کے بھی روادار نہیں؟ احمدی چھوڑیں، ہم دیگر اقلیتوں کو بھی کوئی حق نہیں دینا چاہتے۔ اپنے گھر میں ہی جھانک لیں۔ باورچی خانے میں ماسی اور جمعدار کے استعمال کے برتن الگ رکھے ہوئے نظر آئیں گے۔ ہم ان کے ساتھ اپنے برتن بھی شیئر نہیں کرنا چاہتے، ملک تو بہت بڑی چیز ہے۔

ہمارے نزدیک ہم سب سے افضل ہیں اور اس کی وجہ ہمارا مسلمان گھرانے میں پیدا ہونا ہے۔ اس کے علاوہ کوئی اچھائی ہمارے پلے نہیں۔ اپنے دل پر ہاتھ رکھ کر بتائیں، کون سی برائی ہے جو ہم میں نہیں؟ جھوٹ ہم بولتے ہیں، سود ہم لیتے ہیں، یتیموں کا پیسہ ہم کھاتے ہیں، دھوکہ دینے میں ہمارا کوئی ثانی نہیں، ملاوٹ سے پاک کوئی چیز ہم نہیں بیچتے، اپنے ہی بھائی کی امانت میں خیانت کرتے ہیں، پھر بھی خود کو افضل سمجھتے ہیں کیونکہ مسلمان گھر میں پیدا ہوئے ہیں۔

اویغور مسلمان ہوں یا برما کے، فلسطین کے ہوں یا کشمیر کے، ہمارا دل ان پر ہونے والے ہر ظلم پر روتا ہے لیکن وہی دل اپنے ملک میں اقلیتوں پر ظلم کرتے ہوئے یا ظلم ہوتا دیکھتے ہوئے نہیں روتا۔

خواجہ آصف نے صحیح تو کہا یہ وطن 22 کروڑ عوام کا ہے۔ آپ نہیں سمجھتے تو الگ بات ہے۔ پاکستان کا آئین اپنے ہر شہری کو برابر کے حقوق دیتا ہے، اب چاہے وہ مسلمان ہو، ہندو ہو، احمدی ہو یا عیسائی ہو۔ حکومت کا فرض ہے کہ وہ آئین کی پاسداری کرتے ہوئے اپنے تمام شہریوں کو اپنی مذہبی ذمہ داریاں اپنی مرضی سے ادا کرنے کی آزادی دے۔

حکومت کے لیے مناسب نہیں کہ وہ اپنے شہریوں میں ان کے مذہب کی بنیاد پر تفریق کرے۔ اپنے دل سے نفرت نکالیں تو شاید یہ بات آپ کو بھی سمجھ آ جائیں ورنہ قانون سے کھیلتے رہیں۔ ہاں، یہ ضرور یاد رکھیں کہ کبھی کبھی کھیل الٹا بھی پڑ جاتا ہے۔

The victim was a former Ahmadi who left the jamaat. He then started claiming to be a prophet, and he had confirmed mental illness as can be confirmed by his family. Even while writing this "background" info, I feel bad that a clarification is even required.

All I'll say is that if your faith is threatened by the words of a mentally ill person, then you need to take a really close look in the mirror at where you stand.
