What needs to be done in Pakistan to fix things is fairly obvious to so many of us in this forum --- not just with the continuous fauji (and usually civ as well) obsession of serving US masters, but also in general.

Yet the great generals and the popular politicians fail every. single. time.

EVERYBODY is fine with this shit 'new normal' status quo and just wants to maximize his/her personal and, max, institutional power (since personal power is a function of the power of the institution the person heads). The country is secondary for EVERYONE in this sick game.

Any fanboys of the COAS or the PM need to wake the F up --- and this applies to all previous PMs and COAS too. Some better, some worse --- all focused on useless superficial issues with next to no transformative structural reform. You can't win an F1 race, even if you're the best driver on the planet, with underlying structural issues in your damn car.

At this point I dont mind TLP overthrowing and court marshalling the ahmedi Bajwa. If he is not ahmedi then his close family/friend including his wife are. Must be the reason he overlooks dozens of our jawans being martyred on a daily basis.
