My nephew gets it from his friend who bring this (indian) salt grind at home and sell at no profit no loss. My nephew has give almost 2 ton salt in circle and he informed me that BP tablet of many users have stopped. It is so effective. Give tax breaks to local investors to package and sell directly. Indians can buy that packaged products at the rates we sell internationally.

They were very expensive and were being imported from an Indian company - I couldn’t believe after reading on here that the salt is only mined from Pakistan.

The Indian companies must have been making a huge margin on them - Israel also makes millions from the ‘Dead Sea’ beauty range.

The problem is that 1. Our previous government had no concern for economy or people. They only wanted to build bridges and metros and get votes so they could do more corruption.

I never knew this pink khewra himalyan salt of pakistan cost like gold in other countries if sold in well packaged bottles. In my childhood it was the only salt available to us in Gujranwala Pakistan in the form of big pink "blocks" which we used to buy and bring home and then grind it with our own "chattu watta" and then used it in regular foods. Then from 90s onward "National" refined salt packet was easily available and then we shifted to that new packaged salt product.

Indeed the export of the finished ground pink salt in packaging can earn billions of dollars in exports and can ease our current trade deficit.

Pakistan don't exports pink salt to India rather it imports it from India, China, Denmark, Egypt and sell after repackaging it.
These PDF posters are ignorant. India has its own rock salt mine in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh and in few other places.

It represents only about 300 million USD of exports for India...and about 40 million USD of exports for Pakistan.

Both import next to 0. Himalayan salt would be small fraction of this for both.
