The problem is brand development.unless we develop our brand and goodwill which takes time and many years we will continue to export it at cheap cost which may be one reason although we should try our best to diectly sell this salt to international markets with high price.This high price also include taxes which govt of these western countries impose on salt so true amount earned by exporter will be after substracting taxes and duties

Brand will develop if that is the only brand in the market, this salt is only in Pakistan.
But as I have said it before, Pakistanis do not want to work, if someone proposes them that will come and even dig it from mines, load it on trucks and ship it so Pakistani dont have to work anymore then trust me they will even give it for half the whole sale price.

This is video and this trend is about. Pakistan is exporting it in cheap to other countries and those countries then repack the salt with their own name and making $.

How hard it is to tell investors who have hidden their money in home or forign countries to invest in setups and pack the salt in beautiful contains and export it..
Government would not hold your hand and would beg for them to export..

Fellows, when IK came to power, I wrote him an email in the hope that this Clown would listen to some really good economic recommendations. One of the items I raised in my email was the CONTROL AND DISTRIBUTION of the Himalayan Pink Salt. Pakistan is the only country where this pink treasure is extracted. There is nothing in the world that can compare to this. This can turn into a cash generation commodity for Pakistan. But this treasure is being looted by filthy indians who import, then package it and export it as their own.

This was just one item I raised. I highlighted many more items which can turn into cash cows for Pakistan. But alas, these government Clowns would NOT listen to good things, they only play games and exploit the ordinary people of Pakistan. They are all the same these pathetic people.

And yes the pm would be waiting for your genius email and leave everything else...and all the secrets you have written to save the world..

Believe it or not, these people are so pathetic, that some US company tried to file a "Patent" on the basmati rice which only Grows in Pakistan and to some extent in India. Yes this is true!

It was only when the Indian government took this company to court that the Pakistanis jumped in as well. I think the case is still ongoing. But it shows how pathetic and low life these government people are in Pakistan.

Yup, Shan was sold here in indian grocery stores my mrs thought it was an indian brand, i had to convince her otherwise. by the way there is a whole separate stall of himalayan salt on the beach fair at surfers paradise, that too is branded as indian

Is this true? Anyone know the details???

If yes, why does pakistan continue abiding be thus treaty if india has broken other treaties with Pakistan??

We can export the finish product too instead of raw raw materials. In case of any old agreement. I never listen about such agreement before.

Rock salt is called "sendha namak" in Hindi. Sendha of course is an adjective of the word of Sindh or Indus which attests to the fact that rock salt deposits are located in the Indus Valley.

It goes without saying that the banya is ripping off the Pakistani (as has been the case since time immemorial).
