What's new

Pakistan has successfully tested RAAD cruise missile

No it most probably was a success but would be revealed when time is right

as far as i know about Babur mystery by following on PDF as well, things are better kept secret sometimes. :-)

Its length of torpedo tubes and max weight which both limits >6 meter long and 1410 KG heavy cruise missile. The pressure is not sufficient to eject heavier torpedo/SLCM.

Moreover, Pak's Babur GLCM have weight of 1500 Kg--For underwater launch, you need stronger booster which will further complicate

In addition, with the limited space and tight design of agosta;its very hard to replace torpedo tubes and replace with bigger/longer torpedo tubes incase china agrees to support Pakistan!

Mirage is heavy platform--Its fuselage can take heavy loads.
Pak spent many years in fitting Ra'ad. JF17 will have tough time loading 1100 Kg ALCM

Patient and give time to read. there are links mentioned in reply and hopefully you may click on it which may lead you to particular thread where the detailed discussion can be found to help enlighten yourself Sir.

Guys, Ahimsa is a troll. I have seen a previously banned member regurgitating the same arguments. All have been answered to an extent. Please do not engage him.

Thanks but I am not convinced with them:)

Look at the torpedo tube here

How can you fit any SLCM/torpedo larger than 6 meter in tube of 6 meter length??
SLCM desires heavier booster---So you need babur ++

I gave you an example of Israeli, Popeye SLCM which uses 26 inch/650 mm diameter and 8+ meter torpedo tube!

I know the same picture shared before somewhere in PDF and it was discussed to death for the same reasons. You sound like some1 on PDF in past, don't you? However, indeed it will be a little stressful for you but I can\t help you further with that. You need to dig out for info you are looking by yourself. You have the links and discussion and also an option namely SEARCH. Help your self though you are convinced or not, its up to you how u sees it.

You all understand the problem??

China wont support pak Pakistani/southafrican cruise missiles into its platform which will hurt the orders of chinese ALCM to Pakistan!

On the other hand, PAC is not sophisticated enough to fit >1000 kg CM in Jf-17

You think your post is worthy a response or even makes common sense? If Pakistan can modify French Mirages, it can't modify the Chinese tech its most familiar with? Mirages and other Western avinics are written in proprietary coding languages or rare commercial languages. The JFT is all written in COTS (C++) and to your surprise, the HUD's software was written in Pakistan. Initially for the F-7PG and the Chinese have been using it since in other platforms too. So integrating a CM on Mirage is much more difficult than on the JFT for Pakistani engineers in the PAF.

Its primarily the HUD which integrates information from all other sensors into one display. Otherwise, a MFD can display the CM related sensors targeting data by itself. So really, since the HUD's software was a Pakistani software product, it won't be too difficult to do it to the JFT. There is other more complex integration going on right now and getting production rates up as a priority. The CM can be integrated later.

Proof ? or any source ?
i am talking about Sub Lunch babur .. which we dont have it yet .
and which ship is capable of Fire CM ?
Nothing available online, confirmed it from a naval intel officer.Sub launched will be tested ones the Chinese subs arrive but there have been "lab test".
F-22P frigates can fire Babur.

. .
when it says.....it can hit sea targets..it means ships etc or naval base?

.
Sir g Machlian mare ga :D :D :D

Zahir hai Ships hi hn gi... Naval base sea me kb se bn'ne lagi :D :D coastal area me hoti hai base
yaar i asked this bcoz us din aik indian mre saat behs kr rha ta.k Raad srf bases ko hit kr skta...ships ko ni..to me confirm krna chahta ta

. .
It cannot be JF 17 due to lack of two seat capability, because the rear pilot is for operating weapons system and the JFT lacks it. Maybe it will be used against Naval targets in support of PN

Congratulations.....:smitten::pakistan:

I am sure RAAD is tested from JF-17..... to put an impression for BAHRAIN AIRSHOW. :enjoy:.

What part of this CM is pakistani??
0. Design
1. Engine
2. Actuator
3. Flight control/Navigation guidance
4. Inertial navigation system
5. Seeker
6. Mainframe/Fuselage

1 to 5 are still imported----0 was done by south africa--Pak simply makes 6

The Mupsow is a South African development on which Kentron has been working under contract from the Air Force since 1991, with unpowered flight tests commencing in 1997. The MUPSOW is thought to be an extension of the H2 stand-off weapon program. It is not known if Mupsow has entered SAAF service.

Pakistan uses a variant of the MUPSOW ALCM called the Ra'ad.

The PAF by April 1999 had commenced contractual negotiations with Denel Dynamics. Aerospace of South Africa for co-development of a family of ALCMs under Project H-4. The first ALCM to be developed under Project H-4 was a 120 km-range surgical missile armed with high-explosive runway-cratering bomblets, as well as a passive radiation seeker for targeting hostile ground-based air defence radars. This is a derivative of the MUPSOW ALCM that has been under development by Kentron since the early 1990s and incorporates twin side-mounted air intakes and fixed horizontal and vertical tailfins. Following two successful qualification flights of the MUPSOW, Pakistan and Kentron (Denel) began work on developing the ‘Raad’ by carrying out minor modifications to the MUPSOW’s airframe, which included a stretched fuselage, a fixed ventral air intake and twin vertical tailfins, and incorporation of twin swivelling horizontal fins.

Got any proof of all the crap you have just written ? Because This CM is using TERCOM+INS+DSMAC + Mid course Data link which just nullifies the entire crap you have just written.

If Pakistan had cooperated with southafrica, this missile would have come before the Babur LACM. But 2 years after Babur development, this missile came. Which once again nullifies all your crap once again

.
Denel dynamics was using imported seeker in terminal phase. So Pak decided to use Babur components such as TERCOM: Terrain contour mapping & Digital Scene Matching Area Correlation (DSMAC) was procured from China.

Chinese DH-10A was derived from Ukrainian Kh-55. Pak still dependent on china for most hardware minus fuselage

Please apprise us:
What components of babur and ra'ad are made in Pakistan?

All components of Raád are manufactured inhouse. Dont believe it? Come to Pakistan and ask from the organization which manufactures it directly. Until then stop fishing for the info by BSíng through all the way without any proof to back it up.

Before Babur, There was not a single Chinese Cruise missile which used TERCOM and DSMAC. So Yeah, exposes how much you know about chinese cruise missile tech as well.
