Pakistan formally rejects Su-35 as Russia denies AESA radar.......!
According to our sources PAF wanted an improved & customized version of Su-35 according to their operational requirements but Russia denied the integration of an AESA radar over existing platforms in favor of newly built Su-57 fifth generation fighter aircraft.
Also PAF required a more complicated and better EW/ECM system,But they rejected the deal after Russians didn't agree to provide crucial technology.
An expected sale of Su-35 Fighter aircrafts was being discussed between Pakistan & Russia since 2015.

The Russian simply want to spend their engineering resource on Su-57.
Pakistan will not order enough Su-35 to compensate for loss of momentum.

As long as India-Russia have good relations in defense sector, Pakistan will never get hold of top-tier Russian technology, but, like the US, will only get watered-down versions. This is just proof of this.

It is nothing about India and Russia good relation. Rather it is about business potential. If Pakistan shows interest for 250+ planes, Russia can do anything for them.

You can't dismiss it entirely, but you are right: money talks. And Pakistan has very little of it, at the moment.
