Pakistani residents and expats DONT usually marry outside their families whether Afghan, Iranian or Albanian. A majority of the Pakistanis resident in UK are extremely insular and parochial ( Mirpuris) living in tight communities, and marriage is strictly controlled. A tiny fraction get westernized and marry not only Afghans, Iranians etc. but also White British citizens. No Mirpuri family from Bradford goes to the home of an Afghan family seeking the hand of their girl in marriage. UK police not withstanding they are likely to get flattened or beheaded ( probably both). In Pakistan they would be looking down the barrel of an AK-47.
Similarly an Iranian Shiite family is highly unlikely to go to a North Sunni Wahabi North Punjabi family offering their son in marriage. The Punjabi Chacha with his Kulha would reach for his walking stick and lay them a good five strokes.
Any Iranian Afghan marriages happen amongst culturally neutral urban professionals, who may be left wing or secular.
With Indian Muslims it is both.
There is much interaction between expat Indian and Pakistani professionals. Children meet, get to know each other and they marry.
Culturally the expat Indian Muslims are closer. Yes, the Afghan Muslims can speak pidgin Urdu ( sort of ).
Ask an Afghan to say "Thoda" ( little or less) .
You didn't understand my term "consanguineous".So Thalasemia studies prove that Pakistanis and indian Muslims are marrying eachother???????..........
