Pakistan Economy can be worth Trillions $$$$$

my friend india have 13 major ports and 187 small ports. so please think once again before inviting us to transport.

dnt think im arguing against pak. i ll get nothing by arguing vd u, just for knwldge i askd. but gwadar area will be industrialized soon and also it increases polution.



if we can link up china with a highest paved highway on earth through world's mightiest mountain ranges than we can also link up gawadar with international standards highways and motorways .

offcourse railway line is vry important. may i knw the route of the gwadar port to china( road and train).

They dnt have KKH.......The 8th wonder of the world at an altitude of 4,693 m/15,397 ft for which 810 Pakistani nd 82 Chinese workers lost their lives.

its you who started comparing india with pakistan may be you thought we dont have 4 lane , 6 lane highways we are such a backward country :sick: remember the day our economy became stable we have multi billion dollars projects pending which will start ,,, check out the size popultion of india obviously there will be more ports ,, we have coast line of 1200 km and for 1200 km coastal area we have 3 major ports and few smaller ports ...

this should help you for road network for gawadar . M8 for gawadar is under construction the lines in this map are obly highways and motorways connecting major cities of pakistan..


The M8 is an under-construction motorway in Balochistan and Sindh provinces of Pakistan. The M8 will have 4-lanes and a total length of 892 km. Initially, 2-lanes will be constructed after the completion of which another 2-lanes will be added, thus making a total of 4-lanes . The M8 will start from Ratodero in Sindh Province and enter Balochistan Province passing near the towns of Khuzdar, Awaran, Hoshab, Turbat before joining the Makran Coastal Highway just east of the port city of Gwadar.
The M8 will cross the Dasht River and pass near the Mirani Dam in Balochistan Province.

At 0.66 km of highway per square kilometer of land the density of India’s highway network is higher than that of the United States (0.65) and far higher than that of China's (0.16) or Brazil's (0.20).[1] As of 2002, only 47.3% of the network consisted of paved roads.[1] Historically, the funds set aside for the maintenance and expansion of the road network have been insufficient,[1] but major efforts are currently underway to modernize the country's road infrastructure. India plans to spend approximately US$70 Billion over the next three years.[2][3][4][5]

Some of the major projects that are being implemented include the National Highways Development Project and the Mumbai-Pune Expressway. According to recent estimates by Goldman Sachs, India will need to spend US$1.7 trillion on infrastructure projects over the next decade to boost economic growth.In an effort to accomplish this, the government of India is attempting to promote foreign investment in road projects by offering financial incentives such as toll rights to developers. However, due to rising prices of petroleum, being a Non-renewable resource, foreign investors have urged the government to focus instead on improving public transport like the Indian Railways and rapid transit systems.

bigger the size of country more roads will be developed whats so interesting in it :what: we already have one of the best road network in our country more will be invested in future soon gawadar is going to be connect with motorways and than these motorways are going to be link up with china

Pakistan's motorways are either six-lanes or four-lanes with a universal minimum speed limit of 80 km/h and a maximum speed limit of 100 km/h for heavy transport vehicles and 120 km/h for light transport vehicles. All four-lane motorways are upgradable to six-lanes. They have a central median and are fenced on the outside for safety and prevention of unauthorized access by pedestrians, animals and slow-moving vehicles. Entry to all motorways in Pakistan is restricted to fast-moving vehicles only, including high-performance heavy bikes. Pedestrians, bicycles, low-performance motorcycles, animal-driven carriages and other slow-moving vehicles are not permitted on the motorways. By April 2011, operational motorways in Pakistan had a combined length of 639.5 km with another 233 km under construction and at least 1,200 km further planned. Pakistan's motorways are part of Pakistan's National Trade Corridor Project, which aims to link Pakistan's three Arabian Sea ports, namely Karachi Port, Port Bin Qasim and Gwadar Port to the rest of the country and further north with Afghanistan, Central Asia and China.
