Bro, the main aim for that highway is to connect Pakistan and China. This whole port theory is based on the feasiblity of KKH otherwise it will not decrease the costs of good movements. I agree in that process KKH might be connecting important towns but its main objective was to connect Pakistan and China via land route.

Its very simple you see, you guys get 1 billion in the name of 'aid' per year, correct? You just have to ask for aid for the next thousand years. There you go, you got the trillion dollar mark.

May be your government does not want to wait thousand years, therefore they have come up with the new scheme.. The scheme is, "Pay us 2 billions per year and attack us with drones whenever you want"lol

This way you get the trillion mark in 500 years! you guys are so funny and entertaining. i love you all..lols

there is no need to troll

Here's a News story about a new industrial automation school in Pakistan:

LAHORE: Technology Upgradation and Skill Development Company (TUSDEC) aims at establishing Pakistan Institute of Industrial Automation (PIIA) in order to render a training platform to consummate the shortage of skilled manpower in the local automation industry.

A company spokesperson on Thursday said that a pervasive baseline assessment has revealed the dearth of formally trained workforce for equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, installation and programming of equipment.

The PIIA will not only act as an ordained institute for manpower training but will also steer the planning and implementation of programmable logical controller (PLC) and industrial automation projects in the country. The institute will extend consultation and advisory services acting as an adept solution provider for industrial automation problems faced by the industry. The spokesperson said that PIIA will also substantiate the concept of industrial incubation under which, infrastructural support and consultancy will be extended to the automation equipment manufacturers or suppliers for setting up or upgrade their own labs and production units.

Figures from Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) reveal that the import of modern machinery and equipment during 2010-11 was worth $6,547 million, which then rose to $7,167 million in 2011-12.

The accelerating figures indicate that the mounting demand of PLC-based systems in Pakistani industry. Besides a large number of factories and the small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in various sectors are shifting towards programmable logical controllers to manage their operations.

To be frank it will take at least a decade for Pakistan to be even recognised as a growing economy . Leave the trillions and billions calculations. Fact is Bangladesh going to over take Pakistan . Which is many folds behind India.

indians dream, still the gap between Pak & Bangladesh economy is rising in Pak's favour. since when did u indians check the statistics last time?

some quick facts to open indians eyes

Pak GDP 2010:709 Billion $
Ban GDP 2010:391 Billion $

Pak GDP 2014:884 Billion $
Ban GDP 2014: 535 Billion $

P.S: Pakistan's 2014 GDP is not out yet as it is more than 250 billion $.

Both Pakistan and Bangladesh GDP's should be in the trillions. Economical reforms, business optimization through information systems and implementation and conformation to world standards (ISO and others) and business regulations are the need of the hour to maximize production, encourage local entrepreneurship and local investors plus attracting foreign investments. Infrastructure is without saying a paramount. All this needs a considerable effort, but it is quite in the reach of both nations and many other Muslim nations. It only takes the will of a whole nation to advance and put in the effort willingly and with constant awareness of this objective and turning it to reality.
