I am flabbergasted how some members are discarding this as just propaganda or fake news. My advice to them is to read about FATA and how China's vote wont count since its not UNSC where just member can veto. It is not fake news. The anti-terrorism act has been amended signed by the president. This amendment will give authorities the POWER to arrest those who are declared terrorist by UNSC. Now this new development also means that Pakistani Government will takeover schools, hospitals ambulances and madrassas run by HS foundation.

Government of Pakistan has turned this all into a huge Joke.They can easily get HS cleared from UN but they won't.
Indians have have no proof against him,nor he is such a fool to do what they bark.

GoP never attempted to get HS or JuD cleared at the UN. They were complicit (PPP Government) in the whole episode.

Anyway, HS tried to get himself cleared at the UN through his attorney, which is the correct process. However, the ombudsman position, meant to hear such applications, has been lying vacant at the UN for a while and until that position is filled, the application cannot be taken up. Once that happens, there is nothing that India has which can place HS on UN list.

This happened because of changed stance of US vis-a-vis Pakistan, plus changing regional dynamics where U.S. sees India as a prospective partner in the region. Not sure why Indian members are celebrating it as an Indian diplomacy win . If that was the case we would have turned screws on Pakistan much tighter at-least a couple of years back .
Anyways a win is a win . Now China will have no reason to VETO UNSC resolution barring a scenario where Pakistan rolls back this change which is very unlikely .

Look at the Chinese, they don't play disputes with proxies. So, they are not in trouble internally. You play with proxies, and consider the tribal region as a farming ground for Mujahiddheens, they will bite you back. And they are doing it.
Now, you can blame TTP as India sponsored, but outside your country, nobody believes that even the US with that much foothold in Afghanistan do not believe India is playing with TTP. Simply our influence in Afghanistan is very limited.

There must a process to de-list an individual or organization from UN list. No evidence has been found of Hafiz Saeed involved in Mumbai drama. This was a move to link Pakistan to terrorism on fictitious evidence. Pakistan should pursue UN to remove him from the list. I dont know why we have become so apologetic.

Indians are not the largest users. The point is, that's how TTP and other organizations get their funding, your establishment goes the easy way and blame India instead of taking actions.
