Let's assume your scenario. Pakistan does nothing.

China by itself will decide someday to cut off northeast India at some point. The same way Bangladesh because of its geography was inevitably going to be cut off from Pakistan, it is pretty clear northeast India will see a similar fate. Nobody can seriously look at a map of India and think that such a vulnerable region can be a part of India forever.

As the saying goes, you only have to succeed once. China only has to win once to cut off northeast India forever.

Stop dreaming too much.... China has no interest in cutting down NE.... only dispute is on Arunachal Pradesh which was no one's territory till 1986.... its India who landed its paratroopers and annexed it... since then if ever China goes for war this is the only region which can be the reason of war but chances of that too are very thin.... India has enough military there to protect it being defensive without having to divert big armor from western theater.... China knows India's advantage in this terrain or else it was a best excuse for her to start a war during doklam stand off only.... both India and China are enough mature to know what's more worth.... billions of dollars trade or fight and die over a small piece of land.... oops I forgot you being Pakistani this is quite hard for you to understand ....

After his army was defeated by the Tibetans, he set his eyes across the Brahmaputra where my ancestors(of a sister tribe) decimated the remaining ones. The ferocity of the attack was so severe that the remaining army of Khilji had to sustain themselves on the meat of their rotting horses.

The lives of those captured by our soldiers were spared and they are present here to this day as a subset of the Assamese muslims.

Needless to say that Khilji could never recover from the humiliation and died shortly afterwards..

Fellow Indian forum members, you must have seen my writings on the Assamese muslims many times before, about how they are different from the rest.

They pray in our community prayer halls, revere and participate in our Hindu religious and cultural festivals.

There is a good reason for that, the muslims that came with Khilji and subsequently those captured from the Mughal army were geographically isolated from the rest of muslims in mainland India.

Having no access to their scriptures, they relied on the Hindu ones in NE and even considered Ram/Krishna as their Prophet.

It took a Muslim preacher from Baghdad to come to Assam and teach the nominal local muslims about the tenets of Islam. Prior to that even the call for prayer-azan, was unknown to the muslims here.

Point being the native Islam here is of a syncretic variety quite different from elsewhere, until the illegal Bangladeshis flooded NE with their fake Arabic culture.
