Pakistan Continues its Policy of Cowardice Towards Afghanistan

Pakistan did this a day after Afghanistan based TTP killed 4 Pakistani soldiers and weeks after Afghanistan based BLA attacked Pakistan Stock Exchange in Karachi

Disgraceful act by a country led by cowards. Both in uniform and in sherwani

Bajwa Doctrine zindabaad.

I'm not "scapegoating" Pakistan. I am pointing the very simple concept that what goes around comes around. You are pointing it out with respect to American foreign policy "mistakes", I am implying that Pakistan makes its own foreign policy "mistakes". One of which is harboring violent Afghan groups.

With all due respect, it is these "mistakes" which will ensure that a puppet regime in Kabul will not cause problems for us by allowing Indian intelligence free reign to run problematic terror campaigns on our soil --- and it is precisely these "mistakes" that are allowing us to help the US reach a peace deal with the group/s the US just spent over a trillion dollars fighting. I don't think, as a citizen of the US, you're in any position to comment on our mistakes in a country that we share a troublesome border with. Some introspection may help though :)

Our policy with Afghanistan is one of a deep understanding of what it means to live with a weak central government (banana republic held together by a puppet regime with dwindling NATO muscle) --- the Afg Taliban brought stability before and may bring it again. It's not because we think they're great people. It's because, like all policy decisions, it is the one that seems to be most in Pakistan's security/defense interests. It's not rocket science. Anybody who thinks it is backfiring has a vested interest in keeping the puppet regime set up going (like the Americans who have invested an absurd amount of money into a failed project.)

Americans need to look beyond the propaganda their CIA feeds them.
People complain about the influence the Pakistani military has on the media - it is nothing compared to the influence that the US Establishment has on the US & Western media when it comes to foreign policy, and therefore on US legislators who have to align themselves with public opinion.

The US Establishment has just refined the exercise of that influence extremely well, and they've been able to rely on a culture of deference to the military and security forces going back to their exploits in World War 2.

train and gather arms in Pakistan
These are American made weapons being gathered with in Afghanistan by Taliban. Please stop blaming right left center and admit your own mistake for once. You have almost destroyed the entire middle east. Taliban took away these weapons just few days ago from over running Afghan bases.

You cannot honestly understand American intervention in Afghanistan without accepting that American rage over the al Qaeda attacks in 9-11-2001 was genuine. The USA would not have intervened and "screwed up" your neighborhood if the 9-11 attacks had not been done. You can fault us for the stupidity of our response, especially the invasion of Iraq that followed, but our stupidity was mightily provoked.

Yet it was still stupid, go figure

What gains that blame game has brought USA in reality? blame will always help in buying time it will never solve actual the problem. USA never attended the actual problem of Afghanistan instead they tried to play their own dirty game after achieving their goal against Al Qaida which resulted in a mess in the region.

Your stupidity was provoked by yourself. Who trained a group to resist foreign invasion? Oh right, the US(with the help of her allies, inc Pakistan obvs), what happened then? Oh, this group no longer fit your agenda? But wait, what did the US do? Funded another group (northern alliance) alongside her allies once again, what happened? Your two pawns fought it out and you f'ed up by creating such a beast that you could not topple. You did this to yourself, literally, when Americans complain about Afghanistan its hilarious since you made this monster that you could not control or contain. I do hope America suffers greatly in Afghanistan to prevent this policy of American adventurism from happening again. Don't begin something then complain because you could not finish the job.

These type of threads fuel the hatred between both countries. We should never forget that we have to live with afghanis till the end. Terrorism can be ended and surely it will be TTP and JUA are taking their last breath, once a power sharing formulae will kick in they will have no place to hide from tge taliban. Secondly we should always keep afganistan dependent upon Pakistan for trade and stuff this will provide us leverage. And lastly ending the indian involvement in afg is necessary and we cannot do it by bashing afg. We need a friendly afg not a hostile. Cheers!!

So, do you support the Pakistani government harboring thousands of Afghan Taliban leaders, fighters and their families all over western Pakistan? I suppose you make a distinction between "good" Afghans and "bad" Afghans? Maybe Pakistan needs to decide which Afghans to be friends with and then be consistent and transparent about it....

Have you forgotten, did we help the Afghan people win against the Soviet Union, and in the process destroyed your biggest threat.
We also have hosted them as refugees, more as guests for the past 40 years, between 3 to 4 million of them. Even after America and everyone else packed up run away, and sanctioned Pakistan.
It has cost Pakistani society in so many ways, the prevalence of guns, drugs, smuggling, and so many ways.

The very least the Pakistanis have the right to expect the Afghans to be grateful, not attack us, not give protection to people and countries who wish to harm us, at the very least we have the right to ask that much.

Regarding the "good" and the "bad" drama Americans have been crying about, you guys were planning to let India rule the roost, in which fantasy did you guys think that this will be acceptable to Pakistan.

Please - stop with the US scapegoating of Pakistan.

One day it's Pakistan, the next it's the Iranians and then its the Russians.

At some point Americans need to acknowledge that their military and successive government's had no clue as to how to deal with Afghanistan. The US sidelined Pakistan thinking they were schmucks who would be satisfied with some measly short-term aid dollars whilst building a strategic relationship with India and turning a blind eye to Afghanistan and the Afghan intelligence agencies sheltering and supporting Baloch & TTP terrorists.

The insurgency in Afghanistan exists because of local support. It is led by local commanders with foot soldiers on the ground who receive support and shelter from the communities in Afghanistan.

'Thousands' of Taliban leaders & fighters don't cross the border into Afghanistan from Pakistan every day to carry out attacks - if that were the case, why didn't the US and Afghanistan help fund and construct the fence/wall that Pakistan eventually started constructing on its own?

The US administration and military have treated most Americans like a bunch of chumps and sold them their absolute strategic failure in Afghanistan by scapegoating everyone and their uncle.
sidelining Pashtons resulted in alienating the majority group of Afghans and the thuggish nature of the northern Alliance government created support for Afghan Taliban even in non pashton areas well away from borders next to Pakistan.

this is a documented fact highlighted by western media that it was a poor decision to criminalise entire Afghan pashtons on the wishes of racist northern alliance warlords

insurgency happened deep inside Afghanistan where Pakistan had no influence and say.

its been a very lazy and defective narrative to blame Pakistan for the resurgence of 4000 something ill equipped taliban fighters that took on the worlds most powerful military machinery in the history of mankind.

persecution of Afghan population specially pashtons was allowed to happen.

curroption and mismanagement added to the misery of population.
populist notion of blame it on Pakistan was adapted to explain the violence

the beneficiaries have been the northern alliance leadership that made unimaginable amounts of sums of money over the years

that's bull*** decision ... the basic reason to stop transit through Pakistan was to punish India .. now India will make $$$ through Pakistan ... so sad

Only Afghan exports to India through Wagah are being allowed. Indian exports to Afghanistan through Wagah continue to be denied by Pakistan.

Harboring? The international community via UN literally begs Pakistan for extension of stay for the refugees every time the stipulated date arrives. And as for the claim of thousands of fighters being trained and crossing border, who is building fence and posts all across the border? Not Afghan government and certainly not the US.

That pretty much shows for whom the cross border terrorism really is a problem.

.
Are you dumb or what?

These are not Pakistani exports. These are Afghan exports to India through Pakistan
with your logic , CPEC shouldnt be build , its chinese imports passing through
