Pakistan condemns violence against Muslims in India

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Thursday condemned an incident in India in which four Muslims were burnt alive in the Indian state of Assam earlier this week.

Foreign Office spokesperson Tasnim Aslam, in her weekly press briefing, expressed the hope that India would fully investigate the incident.

She also urged New Delhi to protect the rights of all minorities including Muslims.

Aslam said that tension created by Indian along the line of control and the working was aimed at diverting Islamabad’s attention from the war against terrorism.

Responding to a question, she said that the United Nations has imposed a ban on Jamaatud Dawa adding as a signatory of the UN Charter Islamabad has just implemented the decision.

She reiterated that Pakistan is taking action against all terrorist groups without any discrimination. – Samaa

Muslims are 14% of Indian population. So proportionalately there there will be some violence against them as well as they too would involve in some violance. Their involvement in violence is much greater than violence against them. Better pakistn focus on violence against Hindus, CHristians, Ahemadias and shias.

But we don't use or keep using a terror attack to strengthen or prove our point, do not forget it that's why I said include it in your school textbooks etc but stop mentioning in it every now and then in your posters here.

Remembering it is one thing but (sorry to say) use it for your purpose is something not healthy.

Please include it in your textbooks, in you national anthem, your daily praying mantras, but spare the rest of world of this mumbai attack Rhetoric every now and then. Move on its been six years now and nothing big happened after that, or learn from us we faced mumbai style attacks through out whole of last decade but none of us keeps mentioning these attacks just for sake of getting world's sympathy.

Rendering help to Muslims in need is a tenant of our belief. Indian Muslims own India as much as a Hindu does, when they realize their own power, potential and find their two feet, they won't need any military help.

Indian Muslims are happy to live in India protected by Indian constitution. It seems that Pakistanis don't want to see Indian Muslims live in peace. Why are you not condemning the killing of innocents by ISIS and Boko haram .?

Can I back what statement? That no major attack has happened in India since 26/11? You said so yourself, did you not? Do you want me to back that up?

Or do you want me to backup the statement that that preventing such attacks since then is a credit for us? Isn't that kind of self evident? Repeated terror attacks would be a failure of intelligence and security agencies, prevention of such attacks is a success for them. I'm not sure what it is you want backed up.
