Pakistan can make Russia Queen of Asia

There is still one more route: Black Sea -> Georgia -> Azerbaijan -> Caspian Sea -> Turkmenistan -> Afghanistan

The important point is that to make friends with Russia, Pakistan will have to give up the idea of capturing Afghanistan via Taliban proxies. Pakistan will not be willing to accept that. Russia is very concerned about fanaticism in Central Asia.

but as long as Indo Russia ties remain at current level and Russia retains its tag of largest arms provider of India, a dramatic changes in Pak Russia partnership look distinct.

Russia may be desperate to have foothold in Resource reach Astan and to have access to Arebian sea, but India will remain the key strategic ally of Russia for a foreseeable future, on most issues.

Russia needs India as a ally and it is a last major buyer who can not only give boost to Russian Tank and Fighter Jet Industry but also has funds, using which both can jointly develop new state of the art weapons

Brahmos and FGFA are two examples

India too needs Russia at it cant afford to be completely dependent on west for supply of weapons and there are some key technology areas, where only Russia will help India.

so considering these and and may other factors, Pak can no expect relationship with Russia to be on level-a level which Indo-Russia Relationship enjoys- for a foreseeable future

If you see the border between Georgia and South Ossetia you'll know the only bridge that connects this link is well within the range of Russian tanks deployed in South Ossetia.

Pakistan does not have to give up anything. It is the Russians who still desire to reach warm waters.
 
Russia has many allies it don't require any help from Pakistan.
There are many ways to get the access of the central asia and Indian Ocean, Chabar port way more safer option compared to gwadar port and central asia looks more closer through afghanistan and iran, not from pakistan..
Yes there is space for trade and other military sales like some multirole helis and other equipment.. But not for some lethal weapon systems, as you china will be the first and only priority for pakistan..

@topic: There are two queens in asia, one is Russia and another one is China..

care to explain what Russia can bargain with US viz a viz Pakistan??

Its childish to think so because Russia doesnt need Pakistan or India for bragaining with US. Their own race of power is enough to keep them at different ends.

Whereas with Jumping of Russia-Iran-India, we can bargain with US over many things
