Pakistan bans 'Tiger Zinda Hai' over 'demeaning' content

The irony of this whole situation is how successful the director of this movie has been in conducting his whole experiment. All he had to do was show an ISI agent with a RAW agent and a country of 200 mil has raised a shitstorm over it. We have just shown to the world how small minded we are.

Not everything in life can be solved by banning everything.

"The irony of this whole situation is how successful the director of this movie has been in conducting his whole experiment. All he had to do was show an ISI agent with a RAW agent and a country of 200 mil has raised a shitstorm "

So lets assume he has raised a shitstorm amomgst 200 million pakistanis, then how on earth is it a success (as per ur own words) ? given the film is banned by authorities. And many pakistanis had already known what this movie was about as the trailer had been out for more than a month, and no pakistani had talked abt its ban, so where was the shitstorm? In ur pants ? Or ur head?

and isi agent with raw agent is not done first time ,even before agent vinod was banned which had similar topic and film had contained anti pak content.

Pakistani nation is free to air their views and express their disdain of any content if it burns ur arse , u can move ur sorry self to any other part of the world but i doubt anywhere around the world a small minded joker as urself wud be welcomed whose sole job on earth n is forum is to pick flaws in pakistanis no matter how unrelated that topic is , due his own insecurities.

It would work in favor of India? How exactly? What do u think the Pakistani ppl would do? Go cry in a corner?

It wouldn't work in India's favor. India would just lose the opportunity to make money and the feelings of Pakistanis wouldn't be hurt bcuz this is expected of India. Just look at this forum or any other forums(specially Indian forums) where Indians are present, all they do is spit venom against Pak. This is to be expected from our enemy.
Then why the concern over the movie anyway? Remember, as of now the movie is banned CAUSE of Pakistan allegedly being shown in negative light. So either you are wrong and the Pakistani government doesn't have your confidence in its people or they just didn't want an Indian movie shown on its theaters and had to come up with an excuse.

don't stuff your head with the things you dont understand go read about Psy Ops
btw why Waar a film which showed the real face of Indian intel agencies was banned in India? didn't see Indians condemning that
OK let's be honest for a second. WAAR was the only Pakistani movie comparable to bollywood in that it was utterly ridiculous. I'm no fan of bollywood either but if I didn't already know I would've thought it was an Indian movie.

The Pakistan government's job is to safeguard its ppl. Ur media and its constant BS propaganda isn't welcome in Pak. The decision is right...this movie should not be shown in Pak theatres to ensure there will be no revenue made from Pakistanis.

lol thats the problem i bet not even one Pakistani have ever heard about any of the above movies......

only these Khans are famous in Pakistan because of their Pakistan connection.

Maybe a few people in the Pakistani film trade may have heard of off-beat Indian films like 'jaane bhi do yaaron', just like how I know of Bol or Ramchand Pakistani. But such Indian films go unnoticed in India too among the common masses, especially the youth.

yeah coz it exposed your filthy face, right?
If you're stupid enough to take movie as a representation of a country, then I can do a lot worse to you mate.

Zero Dark Thirty - American forces waltz into Pakistan and take out a terrorist the government was hiding.
Code name geronimo - same thing, America makes a move, nobody in Pakistan realizes, OBL dead ......
Homeland - Bunch of terrorists roaming freely in Pakistan attack Americans

Should I base my views on these too? And I haven't listed any Indian movies yet :disagree:

So the people want to watch the movies, as statistics show and one of your own countrymen is saying in this thread but the government won't allow them cause India will be making some money. Doesn't sound like the government is looking out for the people.

Lmfao. Yaani ghoom phirr Kay baat parhay likhay jahiloun wala hee rasta apnana tha. The news around this film, the very fact that thus thread exists is the shitstorm. Literally hundreds of films are made on WW2, why aren't they banned in Germany ? Literally every single pre 90's Hollywood film and even now has a Russian villain in it. I don't see them losing their minds.

"My own insecurities" ? Please explain them to me....

Also please learn how to spell properly , you're not 12 anymore (maybe mentally I guess).

Then how do u explain other Indian movies that are shown in Pak? Why would Pak need an excuse to ban this movie specifically? Pak can just ban them all outright without any excuse or reason.

It's plain and simple u want the revenue from Pakistan then don't vilify Pakistan in ur movies. Pak will be fine with or without Indian movies.

this @lahoriGuy is a typical desi Liberal he thinks talking talk shit about Pakistan and mocking our intelligence agencies and fallen heroes and calling other boot palshi and licking Indians and western dicks and
spreading islamophobic rhetoric will make him look, Kewl guy,

Oh boy, the RSS ideology argument......would've worked if I was Hindu........wait you believe everyone in India is Hindu right ......:-)
Waar was a mediocre movie, similar to some of the stuff Bollywood makes. It simply catered to a few niche sentiments, mostly over glorified action and over the top antics.

No you're mistook what I meant. I was simply stating that if the governments intention was to prevent Pakistan being negatively depicted in this movie, banning it won't do any good since you yourself said that pirated copies would be available for people to watch.
And I don't think most movies made in India are created with Pakistani audiences in mind. Pakistani viewership and business are just an added bonus, if they are allowed in. I don't see Bollywood reigning in their movies to placate the viewers in Pakistan when the home market is so enormous.
