The concept of dry day in military has been for very long. In many cantonments, there are days nominated for dry days. MP is standing on roads that day and checking military vehicles. The dry day is usually on a holiday or weekend, like Saturday. Staff cars are excepted in most cases, other military vehicles in cantt need to have proper paper work to come on road on dry day.

Dry day is a common thing in Military, its not new.

Army should cut off all family perks and not only Friday but 4 days a week unnecessary games or exercise in last 15 yrs hit us alot there should be no such things for next 5 yrs atleast

Maantay to hain na phir k Army as an institution is working at its best capacity in Pakistan. The rest around it is crap apart from Political parties which thrive on and on and one. Even the businesses have to adapt to survive due to Government interests so businessmen have a back up abroad.

They should most definitely do that but not advertise it; the Army is NOT a political party.
