A Pakistani AC will give them the ability to counter any Indian influence near their waters. They need at least one, if not two, AC's.

How so man, they are so close to launch air craft from their own soil, why would they need an AC. Also , AC does not come alone but with a number of other warships thus forming a carrier battle group, One CBG will cost billions.

Hey friends ...Let us accept the fact Pakistan and its people are more interested in allocating their money to Milatry than public health...If you see the histroy ...Army always created a sense of pride for them(Indian friends may differ...but it is about people of Pakistan not Indian people)...So if they like to go for increased spending on defense then it justifies the collective and popular mindset of Pakistani public...which Indian friends should respect it....
And another thing....this image created by USA and other countries that Pakistan will break up one day...i think this is just a story and a concept only.....Pakistan is different and its people are different...I am trying to explain these subjects here due to reason that we Indian always tries to assess Pakistan and its stability in a very very hypothetical manner from the prism of USA and Europe.

We are not talking about a single fighter the thread is about PAF... anyhow but offcourse just like any new fighter one gets a feel of its performance regardless good our bad hopefully it will be good and good for PAF .

The situation of Pakistan is very very in fact same like America.. If America want to do anything (Pentagon) will make/create hype over Defence and Military action ... terrorist attacks blaa blaa..Same Pakistan Army want Vote from Pakistani people that's it and do it whatever they want same like America.. we have so much corrupt people in Army and Air force and Navy... since last 20 - 30 years not a single penny spend properly on any military hardware 40 years man 40 years of old aircraft just 18 new block 52 (which even still not fulfill our requirement fully) all amount goes to ex- and today's army and military officers... hard to accept but its reality... World's pilot and people talking about 4th 5th gen Aircrafts latest tech n stuff... people of Pakistan especially pros always talking about pilot pilot and pilot... look so kiddy when people always talking about pilot is that pilot is that ... its mean Air Forces of the world are stupid who are adding latest air-crafts in their air-force ??? and forget to mention bullsh***t claim "we don't have money" damn dont have money swiss banks full of people money! always blame democrates govts lol who made by Army for their own goals...

But it will put new fuell in paf engine and rest can be coverd up by jf 17 and f16 so it will still be in good shape

On Topic:
Modernisaton of Pak forces must depend on the role its going to have. Current strength of Pak airforce is if not in its best health, is surely sufficient to deter an external threat. If you look some years back it lacks BVR capabilities but now it doesn't hence making it highly potent force.
But with the increasing budget of its "only enemy" India (as perceived and portrayed by many) it fails to maintain the parity and thats too for god of pakistan and its economy.
