It seems(inexperienced as it is) to me that the intent is multifold. One is to provoke a response so that there is a good reason to escalate. Other could be to gauge the readiness and response threshold. If they had real intent to intrude and do something they would have sent something different.

I have feelings (I’m not expert, I’m just normal civilian guy) that if Israelis advisers presence in India is confirmed, they are trying to :

- gauging our readiness
- to manipulate the mindset of our armed forces because they are preparing a bigger attack and for that need to make us confused.
