keeping the animosity of both sides away and looking at the recent past don't you guys think that it might have been better to atleast talk on terrorism? I mean look at last decade...we have been making progress on resolving all the core issues however there has always been a terror strike in India that has reversed the situation for good. On the other hand these days there have been lot of charges from Pakistan side about Indian involvement in Baloch and taliban effected areas....So logically speaking if both countries can move on this front wouldn't it be easy to then talk about the so called core issues??

Thing is, we also consider Indian Army's Occupation of J&K as Terrorism and Human Rights Violations there, what about that?

NSA talks was the right way to present involvement of RAW in pakistan affairs and then they should have presented it to UN. NS promised under stress in Ufa what he could not deliver. His military establishment under this new general did not let him proceed. Looks like this new Chief is also a firm believer of Good-Bad terrorist policy unlike what was presumed before. He wants to look assertive towards India which inturn boosts his popularity. I'll not be surprised if LOC,IB gets hot again and more infiltrators are pushed inside India.

Correct analysis. It is rather stupid on Pakistan's side to become rigid on talking with Hurriyat when NS himself did not meet hurriyat when he came last year. Hurriyat leaders themselves were not willing to come to Delhi and were sending representatives.

Pakistani establishment will have to understand that Kashmir agenda will have diminishing returns. Especially now that those idiots have started to display ISIS flags alongside LeT flags in protests. How do you think will Iran or, UAE/Saudi react when they are told that ISIS is trying to spread its wings in valley..? Will they still toe Pakistan's line on Kashmir..?
