^ Lol so all along you people believe in this nonsense! hahahahahaha

The entire nation of India is an illusion created by 3 factors - low IQ of most population, former colonial borders and fear of Islam.
If India is such a strong country, remember scotland? Yes the people who have not even taken to militancy and still got an referendum? If India is so strong, conduct a referendum and end all your insurgencies. Conduct a referendum in the north-east and tell the separatists that see, people dont want to secede from the country. Ofcourse you wont do that because everyone knows india will fall apart faster than Humpty Dumpty.

Thanks.

What did you feel like after transitioning. No more limitations? No more burdens? On your own without any help from God?
Responsible for you own fate?

It took some time to transition, to be honest.

But once it was over, there was this terrible burden of responsibility. Of not being able to seek refuge, of being compelled to look into my own eyes and accept myself for whatever I was, good, bad and ugly. Most frightening, of beginning to see that there is no difference between Genghis Khan and St. Francis of Assisi as far as the afterlife is concerned, and that whatever decisions an individual makes are his for eternity. While she or he will dissolve into a putrefying mass, her or his deeds will remain, irreversible till the end of time.

On my own without any help from God is the closest, and it is a frightening feeling.

I think of my final moment, if I am sentient going into it, and I hope desperately that I have the courage to go into nothingness with a joke on my lips. I am not sure I can do that, but I hope I will. It is devastating knowing that nothing follows. Nothing.

I envy believers, those who sincerely believe, and wish I could go back, but once you have crossed the curtain of illusion, there is no going back.

I wouldn't waste my time showing Tinker Bell which elements of pre-Vedic theogony were absorbed into Hinduism, or demonstrating the difference between Rudra and Siva, or dilating on the introduction of the Purush-Prakriti dichotomy. Why waste pearls by casting them here and there?

I respect your views and the fact that you are very honest about them.

However, I wonder, is it necessary? I mean, going against the flow. Why put yourself through this? Why not just go
over the cliff like the rest of the sheep?
What difference does it make?

You say that once you have crossed the curtain of illusion there is no going back. I disagree. You can always and I mean
always become a sheep again. Its easy. Just f*** the world. Who cares if there is a God or not? Just choose the
path of least resistance, the path with the least stress involved. Who cares if the ship is sinking? You are going down
either way. Enjoy it while you can.

How sincerely, earnestly I wish I could. But to believe in these things again, now that the illusions have dropped away, would be a monstrous crime against myself.

I don't know how this fits in, honestly, but this is the vision, and these are the thoughts that went through my mind as I read your tempting words.

It is difficult to imagine what goes through the minds of people kneeling down and about to be decapitated, as they listen to the bombast and the outrageous justifications of their executioners to be. I wonder if it is easier for them if they know that there is a superior power that will protect them and that will wipe away the infamous way in which they are to be killed.

Most of all, I wonder how I would go through those terrible final moments of life, bereft of the last shreds of human dignity and made a public display for the entire world.

If I went back to religion, where would I go? Perhaps to the Anglican Church; I was, to some degree, brought up in this world, and love the old hymns and the church services, and the 'just right' posture between the RC Church and the non-conformists. Perhaps to become a Sikh, but without the ridiculous paraphernalia - a 'sahajdhari', in other words. Most probably, 'Buddham Saranam Gachhami'. The more I read about it, the more I feel relaxed about it, because at the centre, there is no god. There is the miracle of existence, and there is the greater miracle of transience from the existing to the non-existing.

Sometimes I hope I die suddenly, in seconds, without realising it.

I didn't think that was a rant.

I think that it was a very kind thought, and displays a deep sensitivity and goodness of heart. Thank you sincerely.

You should have a sit down with an ice-cream tub. Always helps with an existential crisis (or a root-canal). Though you being a man is more likely to buy a shiny red sports car or have a fling with "Crystal" (or whatever is a common stripper name in India):p:

@jbgt90

Red car, fling...what's the drill on international supari?

PS: And red wasn't my choice. I'd have chosen blue.

. .
Well I can accept the supari but it will cost you:)
i still say silver would have been a better colour. red is to flashy Joe.:)

OK, let's back to this in six months. How about I swap it in for silver?

. . . . .
@hellfire

blah blah blah ........

for the bold part; like you have your policy over Kashmir? 68 years of monopoly over useless bluster and lack of "balls" and now your nether region on fire as we intrude into that domain? LOL!!! Yes, we must not emulate you ....

Somehow you have described a country which does the same over Kashmir and nukes ...! An uncanny similarity??

your nether regions get under fire when a single bullet is fired in kashmir u go crying in security council to cry infront of big daddy usa just like vajpai did on kargil war ran to daddy clinton for ceasefire. As for kashmir we dont need to do anything as your policies are enough for freedom fighters to rise & claim freedom, just like sikhs are doing & maoist are.

. .
Lol when did we ever say that. Perhaps DM should look into then recent demise of poor sailors who lost their lives in INS vikky band refrain from making such pointless comments
How is PNS Ghazi??? Wait sleeping in the bottom of the sea right??
