Pak Army Atheist Soldier Decorated and Promoted.

.
Yes but since they don't believe in constitutional amendment they are keep calling themselves Muslims and enrolled themselves as Muslims.

Even for Hajj they are doing the same thing by declaring themselves as Muslims in passport even KSA knows this and many times complains about it.
Dont spew your sectarian beliefs on this forum, I know of many ahmedi officers from who are doing their job with the utmost prefessionalism and dedication. Get you facts from a place other then the Madrassah you attended.

.
Yes Sarthak, you have been in Pak Army. You know this from your personal experience?
In some other thread I would have justified myself. I think this was opened as a personal congratulatory thread. I don't wish to spoil it. Quote me elsewhere please, I will gratefully explain my position.

Okay maybe in another thread then. I don't feel like opening another thread just to address your trolling or maybe genuine scepticism. Plus its Sunday, I feel lazy on Sundays. :D

Except that is exactly what 'Westerners' do. In Pakistan people have a very wrong perception of 'West', 'Westerner', and 'Liberalism'. And that is because sweet pills are administered through the pro-Western media about 'equality', 'tolerance' etc. Of course! Why wouldn't the non-Muslim West want to place non-Muslims in key positions of power in Muslim lands so they can forever control and manipulate them.

Now, in 'democratic', 'modern', 'liberal', 'Western' countries, they don't believe in all that B.S. No Sir! They don't. They believe in racist, bigoted, biased, anti-Islam, anti-Muslim policies. Let me open your eyes to the reality. Please meet "Pauline Hanson's One Nation' party in Australia. Now, before you think these are some small time, unimportant nobodies, please observe:

Here is the official mandate of this party. They got elected on the basis of this published agenda. Please note not just the vitriol, but also the outright lies, the deception, and the outright disinformation that is being spread.

And anti-Islam diatribe is part of the Australian political process:

Here is the reality @Jungibaaz and since you are an intelligent person I believe you already know this, but you feign ignorance because throwing around 'tolerance', 'equality' etc. serves your purpose. The reality is that everywhere people try to protect their way of life. The Islamic way of life in a Muslim country is a system in which Islam informs everything from matters of state to matters of personal life. Here is how Hazrat Umar May Allah be Pleased with him used to appoint people into office:

From Hayat-us-Sahabah Vol 2

Now you can argue that in the military we need certain attributes to be an officer, but the point is most definitely a non-Muslim cannot be appointed officer or 'ameer' over Muslims. That is, if we want to follow the teachings of Holy Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Aalihi Wasallam.
Boy, you are tempting me. Though I think I support your stance more.

. . .
I feel like I'd be wasting my time replying to this, quite honestly, most of it is irrelevant to the discussion and to the points I made. In fact, it is such an irrelevant rant, that the forum's automatic detection flagged this as possible spam, and I had to approve the post for it to be visible to other members.

Reluctantly, I'll respond. But please for God's sake actually read and repspond to the content irrelevant rants aren't in line with the thread or my own post that you just responded to.

Why wouldn't the non-Muslim West want to place non-Muslims in key positions of power in Muslim lands so they can forever control and manipulate them.

First of all, you've missed the entire bloody point I was making, I was not trying to praise the west, rather for you to realise that if I took your quote about atheists in Pakistan, and turned it around by replacing some of the phrases, and I asked you to imagine your reaction if it was an westerner talking about Muslims in their country.

I for one don't question his service, but the side-effects of placing Muslims in key positions. Who gives the guarantee that such a person will not favor other Muslims? Who gives the guarantee that such a person will not abet the extremist and mullah lobby who want to expunge all traces of progress and modernity from the country? ....

That^ is your post which I've superimposed the scenario on. My point was, you'd take issue with it when it was a westerner saying this, but you happily say it as a Pakistani Muslim who distrusts atheists in these positions, and that is a form of great hypocrisy. At the very least the logic you've applied to one part, you couldn't apply the same against yourself, at worst it's blind hypocrisy.

Believe me, I think I know better than most of the political systems in the West. Including the bigots, the far right, the neocons. I know them probably better than you.

In Europe we have similar, in terms of parties we have UKIP in the UK, Front Nationale in France, Alternative fur Deutschland in Germany, Geert Wilders in the Netherlands, Golden Dawn in Greece, Jobbik in Hungary, Sweden Democrats in Sweden. There are also multiple far right street movements like the EDL in England and Pegida in Germany. And all of these entities are far right, their nationalistic, some are openly racist etc.

So I know this and am fully aware of it, thank you very much for pointing out what I already knew.

BUT, for all those far right parties, there are also left wing parties, progressives, tolerant parties in greater number, and they still have had historically higher support than the far right. For example, for every UKIP supporter in England, there are more Labour supporter, Green supporters, Lib Dems etc. In Germany for every Pegida and AfD supporter, there are more Green party supporters, SPD, Die Linke etc.

So your generalisation of the west here is not only an irrelevant rant, but it's also exactly that, a generalisation.
And I'll ignore the far right references to Australia, it's not worth discussing any further.

Also, if it is all bad, what are you doing living in Australia where you seem so very oppressed? You poor soul, you should return to Pakistan and free yourself from the tyranny of liberalism.

Here is the reality @Jungibaaz and since you are an intelligent person I believe you already know this, but you feign ignorance because throwing around 'tolerance', 'equality' etc. serves your purpose.

These are big words with heavy judgements, careful how far you go.

I've said now above, I am fully aware of intolerance and bigotry in the west, I consider it as backward and regressive as extremism in Pakistan is. And believe me, I know it plenty better than you, of that I am sure.

So spare me your condescension. And it's not feigned ignorance on my part but perhaps actual ignorance on yours to rant and jump to silly conclusions like this, while from the very start posting irrelevant discussions. You've not actually addressed the point of my previous post.

The reality is that everywhere people try to protect their way of life. The Islamic way of life in a Muslim country is a system in which Islam informs everything from matters of state to matters of personal life. Here is how Hazrat Umar May Allah be Pleased with him used to appoint people into office:

Protecting your way of life, and being insular is a sure way of never progressing. Take Saudi for example, they're an oil rich state so the comparison is distorted, they've preserved their way of life, and in terms of progress they are well behind even Pakistan, and the progress is such that the billions of barrels of oil owned might mask the lack of it, but it's a serious deficiency.

So your issue is essentially ideological, atheist or infidel can't have a higher status than a Muslim especially in an Islamic republic? That is the essence of that last quote, correct/?

I'd categorise your idea as a great jest, I don't even know where to begin on this one.
You realise that Pakistan air force for instance has/had legends like Ronald Afzal, or Cecil Chaudhry? Non Muslims they are, and also victims of your verdict against them. Thank God you don't dictate PAF strategy.

Also, you spent the majority of this irrelevant rant crying about bigotry in the West, yet here you are voicing a purely bigoted opinion, you want it so that the non-Muslim has no status over the Muslim for any reason, this is pure bigotry and nothing else.

For your next reply, I would urge you to read first, and understand what I'm saying and then respond, don't leap to conclusions and rant about the irrelevant. And if you want to further discuss, post it here:

We've derailed this thread enough as it is.

You might be right about this part

. .
Why do you think that?

Atheist do not acknowledge existence of God but they may get the importance of statehood and the family.

As an example, why do you think people of all beliefs join the American Army?

Personally, the much I have read atheist, safely assuming almost all of them, dont really support the nations of state concept either. Hence, there is no clear motive for them to join the armies and give up their only life for something which is un-natural and un-philosophical. Considering the fact the most the armies not highest paying professions in the world.

American army is a different thing, there may be several reasons to join US army. US and Pakistan are two entirely opposite concepts in the eyes of atheists.
