so...the said news could be both true AND false. it is entirely possible that Turkey & Pakistan with the backing of Russia & China China could have sent certain signals to the isrealis on purpose that somethings were rumbling on runways to make them back off of their shinanigans...maybe a bluff, but make it look like a gamble too big to take and they can back off...its a common practice on the global strategic chess board.

It is very unfortunate to see some seniors on this thread are belittling the image of PAF as if WE do not have "a chance" in confrontation with the subject Country.... Lets put aside the notion of the title of this thread "for a moment" and consider IF in future due to circumstances we have to make a decision to join such coalition what would be our answer:

1. No way we are NOT capable because what if accidently we shot down the enemy plane they might wipe us of from the face of the earth.

2. It will start a WWIII and the whole world will be destroyed...

3. There are dire consequences (sanctions etc) and we will never be able to recover from such an action etc

For Allah's Sake you are Masha Allah the ONLY muslim "nuclear armed country" of the world... start acting like one as well. This does not mean to be "trigger-happy" but my goodness show some "back-bone" to the world. Didn't you guys see, observe and feel the impact of SMQ "deep pockets" comment, did you see how much confidence booster that was for the poor oppressed muslims all around the world.... just few "just words" at the right time against a powerful enemy shows character, shows that you care and are ready (if required) ...anyone can take action against a weaker opposition isn't it.

This is a dangerous mindset which automatically sub-consciously put you on the back foot I think the following ayat # 75 of Surah An-Nisa is not addressing us may be it is applicable to some other future generation who may be worthy..,.???
