PAF & TuAF Were Ready To Enter Israel ?

I hope Pakistan understands that Israel is planning to destroy Pakistan.

Israel can't rest in peace until you are stripped of nukes.

sheer arrogance ...
I don't want to be such a downer, but the way I see it is that we have little to no power projection capability. The military is not built to take on countries like Israel conventionally that are sitting 3000km away. If we were a regional power, with decades of experience in overseas ops, a carrier strike group or two in our possession, ample tankers for aerial refuelling etc., as well as the necessary logistical ability and established doctrines... then we could project power.

But that is not how our military might is built, it's built to contain a threat right next to us, and it allows us to throw everything we have at a much bigger enemy. Having a giant military to contain a giant neighbour is very different to having a specialised force with ample power projection to carry out well-planned and integrated ops overseas. Israelis, limited as they are, actually might even be better than us at this, they have experience carrying out airstrikes all over their neighbourhood, and the blessing of Uncle Sam.

And this is just an appraisal of where we stand militarily. I'm not an expert on the military matters, but I can say with a good deal of confidence that the diplomatic and economic picture is even more bleak for us. Countries who are being bailed out by international creditors, living off loans from allies and strangers, harried by the threats of FATF and other sanctions, with an already poor int'l image, countries like that don't get throw their weight around.

Excellent points. To reinforce your last point, how well did Pakistan deal with the international response in the aftermath of the Kargil fiasco? What makes us think it will be able to deal with the international response were such an adventure to be even contemplated seriously?

Saudi Arabia can fully defend itself- Their air force is quite capable.
They Have the Tech ... Yes ... even better then some EU countries... but having a car and driving a car are two different things.

.
Yes I heard Ismael Haniyya. It was unusual. In past there has been zero involvement of Pakistan during Palestinian-Isreali conflicts and skirmishes.

Something has definitely changed.

Today again very unusual and blunt talk by SMQ. This is not usual at all, by hey , the nay sayers and slaved minds will not see it.

UNSC in no position to ‘fudge’ Palestine issue anymore: FM Qureshi

Qureshi urging the UNSC to issue a call for an end to Israel's devastating violence against the Palestinians in Gaza, saying "it is time to say enough."
Yes that's what I kept on thinking it is very very unusual.

Pakistan, Turkey and Iran need to get into a military alliance and plan the next round
together to protect Masjid Al Aqsa.

They need to make bases in Syria, Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan. They need to get at least 2 of these
countries on board.
Why would Iran defend them ? Iran is causing all this havoc, They are the real culprits

. . . .
I can understand the butt hurt Bhartis reaction to this news as they still feel giddy after their 27.2 thumping and humiliation however the behaviour of some Pakistani members is appalling to say the least.
Thus you need to be reminded that it's not PAF or some Pakistani leader making these claims....that's the forte of Indian Air Force with their cricket scores and painting own wrecks in PAF colours.
No doubt, IDFAF is a formidable opponent but PAF has left it's mark in the past and earned enough respect during Red Flag when the Israeli Commander made a point of visiting the PAF camp.

Have already explained several times. Joys of multipolar world.

Does that mean that Pakistan was able to threaten Israel with an air offensive because China is now a superpower to rival USA? Or is there another Muslim pole emerging?

.
A Kuwaiti Politician, Abdullah Al-Nafisi has claimed that the Pakistan Air Force and the Turkish Air force were ready to enter Israel to Protect AlAqsa Mosque.

So much talk based on a tweet from some politician, that too from Kuwait.

It is very very unlikely that such a attempt was made, or it ever will be made unless there is an all out declaration of war.

No one is silly to do such a thing without weighing out the consequences or even the ability to follow through such a silly action.

China is already rivalling USA. You should have heard the tone of Chinese officials during Alaska talks.

Look at the bigger picture. SCS, Uyghur issue, Taiwan etc, what in your opinion is American achilleas heal which China can exploit in counter offensive?

Muslim pole cant emerge on its own unfortunately. It needs support from other power centres. And that is what happening. When was the last time you heard such blunt talk by Pakistani FM on issue which is not directly related to Pakistan's own region and periphery? Connect dots, and it will become much clearer.

But the real question I asked was whether Pakistan was able to threaten Israel with an air offensive because China is now a superpower to rival USA?

No one can say anything for sure as what transpires between the lines....do recall General Zia's visit to India when some million soldiers were standing eyeball to eyeball on the Indo/Pak border.
A few quite words conveyed were enough to bring a belligerent Rajiv Gandhi to his knees.
