Unlikeliest of all scenarios.
If the Armed Forces believed that Israel was planning on destroying Al Aqsa mosque then I think they would have stationed forces to attack in conjunction with Turkey at least a force large enough to deter Israeli's from carrying on with their plans.
It was Jordan which betrayed the Arab republics in 1967 and 1973.
I'm not totally aware of all the different wars they've had but how did Jordan betray the Arab Republics?
In the 6 day war Jordan invaded Israel after having forged an alliance with Egypt but their operation was started after Egypt relayed false information about having repelled an Israeli airstrike, Operation Focus if I recall correctly, which crippled the Egyptian air force and eventually lead to the failure of Jordan's ops.
We don’t have the resources, power projection capability, or economic or military muscle to significantly influence Israel, let alone take it on.
Sounds like a great way to get shot down for free and then sanctioned.
Non sense.
Even if in imaginary World such confrontation ever took place, it will yield disastrous outcomes for PAF and TAF alike...
would have been a stupid and disastrous move even if it was true.
So you're saying that our Armed Forces which is built to contain and has successfully fought an enemy armed force with a military budget that's currently 300% larger than Israel's, an army currently 700% larger than Israel's, a navy 500% larger than Israel's can't take on Israel?
Israel is nothing, it's got a population smaller than Lahore and even if we went tit for tat we lose 5% of our people they go extinct.
As for sanctions who is going to place it on us?
China vetoes it at the UNSC and it would violate WTO rules if they were unilateral. You can't just place sanctions on a fellow WTO member whenever you want.
Lets be honest no one gives a damn about Israel other than the US hence why NATO's Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg even came out and made it clear they won't defend it:
JPost | NATO chief: Alliance won't defend Israel in war with Iran
We tend to forget there will always be a response. If we attack west towards Israel we surely be attacked on eastern front from India, then by our so called rent a jihadist in Pakistan
Why do you think India will attack?
Where was India when the Soviet Union was being attacked in Afghanistan in the 1980s?
India was the USSR's ally they even signed a defense agreement called the 1971 The Indo–Soviet Treaty of Peace, Friendship and Cooperation which called on mutual defense and unlike NATO's treaty it wasn't restricted to attacks on their mainland.
So when the USSR was being attacked in Afghanistan and needed help where was India?
The Israeli's asked India to provide them with an air base to attack Pakistan's Kahuta nuclear facility in the mid 80s and India refused.
Why?
It's India that would be attacked in return while Israel felt confident enough at that time that we wouldn't be left with the capabilities to strike them afterwards because at the time we did not have missile capabilities that could strike Israel.
You think India is stupid enough to face the threat of a nuclear war with Pakistan in the defense of Israel?
That's a joke.
No one is going to help Israel other than maybe the US and even then they're not going to attack Pakistan's mainland in Israel's defense.
The goal is to develop a 'peace mission'. The main priority is to protect Palestinian civilians with reliable function and to create a defense shield for them.
I agree.
Pakistan already has some 7000 UN Peacekeepers which can be moved into that function.
The rules of engagement would need to be examined but I think there could be a significant force put in place to keep the peace.
