JF-17 Block-III Fighter to be inducted in PAF fleet in 2016


The Block III version will have Dual Seat cockpit option. There is also a significant change in the engine and very advanced avionics in the Block-III.


The Block III version will also enable pilots to see all required data on the helmet-screen

Last few days back geo was showing an old video of Mirages and describing it JF-17's are taking part in Paris air show. They either don't know shit about fighters or they just make joke with the people of Pakistan

Agree, usually local newspapers do not know shit about military equipment .etc. Probably do not have a dedicated military journalist/analyst on board. An opportunity for some of you young military enthusiasts.

Induction date of 2016 is exaggerated but it is not impossible to build one fighter within year and within little changes.
No news of Extra RAM coating in BLOCKIII. ....and it may be without AESA radar , but we are heading towards Block IV in 2018-2019.

if we look at previous info, Blk 3 prototype was suppose to hit the sky in 2016 and so was twin seater variant. It seems that reporter mixed first flight of prototype with induction
