I don't think that right now they would even let us upgrade to F-16V standard with AESA Radar which we are not gonna ask tooMy meaning was that instead of buying blk 52s now we should buy blk 60s
Please do not ask such awkward questions.
Essentially one needs to know what these codes are there for and what they do exactly. They are not kill switches as the laughable idea goes. But they do have their role in permitting certain functions or extras to work. The awkward idea that as a supposed exemplar the JDAM interface wont work to allow a JDAM to hit an Indian target may or may not be there. But to suggest that they would prevent the aircraft from being started up and flown with its air to air weapons utilized is a little difficult.
Moreover, the awkwardness occurring has more to do with Pakistani actions than US ones;servicing the APG-68 without logging in the clock might set off an alarm in a computer in the US...or like trying to pry open the SNIPER pod without authorization will definitely lead to the US Defence Attaché being really stern with his PAF contact.
If you read the (1st link) article in post 222 page 15 you would find that these are the ones that are to be cut hence they well not be going to storage as that even costs money. On the other hand the (2nd link) article is regarding foreign based reduction.red,green,blue colours in pic show to whom aircrafts belong AF,national guard e.t.c
Most of the fuss in last months of u.s.a.f news has been about A-10s.Even if they don't upgrade all their falcons, they may put 'em in storage.They have around 460 C/D/E eagles
@Oscar
When is an official announcement expected
This news item is however a pessimistic statement by Pakistan's defence minister Today

Lol, in the end I am only wondering about how did you got that thing "Senior Moderator" around your neck...?I would visit Pakistan now. But yeah, a few months ago I would never visit Pakistan.. because you really cant visit a place if you live there already. You on the other hand, need to visit Pakistan from the fantastical world you have built whilst staying in it. Perhaps if you came out of this dream world of super ideas and make believe stories of Chachas and mamaas, graduated university.. and then perhaps got a job working for people who actually develop systems for Pakistan.. maybe.. and just maybe.. you might get a little dose of reality.
Hmm, just curious, how does the APG68 unit communicate the un-authorised access? There must be some RF transmitter in there.....but it would be limited by range...a problem that all radios suffer from. What if you put it in inside a Faraday cage where there are no CCTVs?
Okay so? Will you Indians grow some brain and actually realize how the world works?
Is it not possible to change the engine and more over US would definitely reduce the avionics and radar specific to PAF standard then that they use.None that Pakistan would like to get. Mostly those with GE F-110s and not the PW 100s that Pakistan uses.
