PAF should focus on 5th Generation Fighter Jets now.

Pakistan Airforce & Pakistan Army should be focusing to buy 'Stealth Fighter Jets' now because in future, most of the big countries including India have now planning to make their own 5th Generation fighter jets or planning to acquire new one. Most of the countries have already started the production including Russia & China. Buying F-16s and production of JF-17 is not enough. We might have a economy issues but it can be resolved if our government contribute. China might offer its latest 'J-20 Stealth Jets' in future but it depends on our defence policy whether our government is up for it or not. But it is really necessary for our government and our army to start think on this.

@Junaid B Yes it is true that PAF needs to focus on 5th Generation fighters. J20 is still under trials & till date so many changes have been made on J20. What I believe is J20 will keep mutating, like it might reduce in size as it is very big & a lot will be learned by Chinese from current J20 project & we might see a new improved advance version of J20.

I am sure PAF is looking for 5th Generation fighter, let wait & see what happens.

PAF needs 4.5 gen plane much more then a true 5th gen plane as they will be introduced in South Asia after 2020, whereas Saffron Bandits already have more 4 gen planes then our whole air force and they are upgrading them to 4.5 gen and also preparing to induct another 4.5 gen plane in numbers.

don't be angry dear indian enemies we are already involved in j31 which is best suited to us with same engines as JF17. J31 is already becoming a success story in contrast to f35.

We might invest into J-31, J-20 is too big.
