why no,,,,explain?
what has been more difficult for me to understand is ,, why Pakistan keeps walking on a path towards conflict wid us,,,,for what,,5 million ppl of kashmir,,,,,for those 5 million, u guys r willing to be enemy of billion+ ppl...
why???coz they r muslims?
@krash
India will NOT even discuss Kashmir ( First let us meet officially ; which is NOT happening )
The talks will be first and foremost on India's concerns ie cross border terrorism
India will set the terms
Right now we are happy to continue with the LOC skirmishes
They are ALSO a message isnt it
AND who was asking the whole world to intervene in September October
It was Pakistan
The naivete of your question or the lack of effort behind you trying to avoid the actual question can be explained with another question; Why does India keep on walking on a path towards conflict with Pakistan and its 182 million people? For what? For people who never even wanted to be with India? Or for that matter for the frozen waste which holds no population or any other value whatsoever? Kindly revert back to my post and actually try to answer it.
why on earth wud we want a war,,we r satisfied as things r,although abit of trade wont hurt either country,,,i dont think GOI will have any issue with the converting loc into ib.Why does India keep on walking on a path towards conflict with Pakistan and its 182 million people?

there u go ,,,now u anser
ur post basically translates to,,,,Pakistan still lives in the past and wants revenge for supposed hostilities/atrocities from India. And hence no end to the hostilities, ever. India cannot claim something and then live in the bubble it wants for itself, that is the point. Pakistan will not let it happen, India is not powerful enough yet. Your inability to realize that your above given statement and the fact that India occupies the lands which Pakistan claims is what obliges, nay forces Pakistan to take the hostile stance. Pakistan's is not an independence force, it is a resultant force.
You can translate the situation into an analogy of someone robbing you and then demanding you remain cordial so as not to instigate hostility.
Isn't that the answer to your own question? Only for Pakistan its land, resources and people that rightfully belong to it.
You should still try to answer that Siachin question for yourself, it has no resources or any usable land.

well gud luck wid tht.
Krash.
Pakistan will have to live with the status quo .
A direct consequence of being a militarily and industrially far weaker country than india.
Pakistan cant force india to negotiation and it cant take land it claims belongs to them,, by force.
Pakistan is stuck
For now. The world is an ever changing place. Only a decade and a half ago the new shinning India was nowhere to be seen and there was also once a time when Pakistan was the up-and-comer on the map. Far greater and lesser powers have traded places over the ages than India and Pakistan.
Frankly speaking 'by force' would be immensely stupid for both the parties and Pakistan realizes that. Pakistan is playing for a more politically acquired solution or did you think that we hope to rest Kashmir with a few thousand Mujahideen against 600,000 Indian soldiers? It is primarily to not let Kashmir die out and secondarily to push India towards the table, who would otherwise be perfectly happy with the status quo.
The situation boils down to; the status quo comes with the Mujahideen. India won't come to the table unless the Mujahideen go away. The Mujahideen will not go away unless India comes to the table or Pakistan will be left without chips, something which India is well aware. So India will not negotiate because it believes itself pretty well with the given situation and hence the Mujahideen will keep on operating, unless something changes drastically on either side.
So right now Pakistan buys time until it is a political force large enough and annoying enough for India to come to the table.
Pakistan can never force to come to the table
The power differential between the two countries keeps on widening in India's favour
every year
BTW what is a " political force "
The world knows and respects only two forces
economic force and military force

Sure.....
The combination of the two added to a well placed position geopolitically ("friends").
Pakistan has ONLY China to offer economic and military aid
USA was a friend in the era of cold war ; even then it
did not help Pakistan in getting Kashmir
Saudi Arabia is not interested ; It gave a one time payment of One and Half billion USD
last year ; that is it
BTW if Pakistan's friendship with China was so strong
China would have easily solved Pakistan's economic problems
But given the SIZE of China's economy and reserves and Pakistan's DEBT
I wonder if the Higher than Himalayas friendship means really anything
Kindly reread previous posts and try to make sense.
I want to know from you HOW do you propose to bring India to the table
What has Pakistan NOT tried in the last 67 years
that it can do now
Pakistan could do nothing in 1991 when India was at its weakest economically
