What's new

PAF Heroes Who Surprised India !

Thanks for sharing,I'll inquire about it.Maybe the No Solo is a new rule then.

Here's what I know about current dual seater rules:

-No Solo on a dual.
-2 course mates cannot fly in same fighter.
-Same ranks can fly together but one of the pilots must be senior in terms of experience of the aircraft.
-ACM cannot fly a dual or a single seater as he is non ops.

Exceptions are always there.

Why the rule about course mates?

bottom line, it is a negative on jf-17 in not securing the kill on mig/su and flies in the face of PR work done.
I disagree. Pakistan needed to keep some stuff, for later. Which includes most of its Turkish, Chinese and EU origin systems. As always, buying an aircraft is pretty much a political decision, since it ties a country to the seller, militarily for the life of that system. It's almost never just based on the merits of the system, or combat kills scored by it.

this information independently may not be useful but together with other pieces may help to draw the entire profile

those who didnt know before will know now
90% of intel is gathered from public sources.
some times little pieces or information are used to build up a picture and get personal information say some over zealous facebooker tags that guy or comments where someone lives and even posts that picture or brags having family relations with a person of interest and shares names or pictures of people

Granted.

However recent pictures of S/L Hassan have been circulating with CCS instructor patch. And thus, he's at deduced he is at Sargodha.

Its like someone making a fuss over some US citizen pointing out that xyz pilot is at fighter weapons school (top gun) in Calif because the patch indicates so. Is that a security threat? Abolsultely not. Even Somali's have watched top gun. They know where Top Gun is.

Lets not sensationalise the information. Please.

it flies in the face of ISPR statements etc.

Hi,

You are not wrong---you are correct---.

What these boys are doing is to give a ' stamp of confirmation ' to the information---it makes the news legitimate---. They confirming the information---.
These boys are not official sources neither do the represent the forces, whatever information they are sharing is available.

Finally with untiring efforts of Sir Kaiser Tufail, here is the roll of honour of the PAF Pilots involved in the operation Swift Retort that decisively delivered a telling blow on the Indian Air Force and rendered it's claims of superiority over PAF.

if Hassan Sadiqui was in F-16B
than who shoot down mig-21
in this video hassan sidiqui was clearly shown with Jf-17
i think list is not official
see video

Met 4 of the guys mentioned in the list after the surprise day ( 2 f-16 pilots and 2 pilots from #15). They were thoroughly professional and didn't let success of surprise day get into their heads. They had some great stories to tell starting from 26th until 28th.

. . . . .
yes. but if you recall there were images of jf17 pilots claiming downing the jet etc.
No....yes there were cheering in the video but it did not say for what reason we assumed this on our own (a lot of fake stuff also came out). I do not think the ISPR made a mistake (error of omission, rather than of commission). As a tit for tat, Pakistani jets bombed close to Indian military targets to show capability. This is the operation which involved no F16s but Jf17s and the Mirages. Since it was high alert, the PAF was carrying out regular sorties since the previous interception/evasion. Naturally, the F16s were also flying and provided cover (be it their primary objective). I doubt they expected someone to wander so far off from the flock and get clean bowled.

I am not happy with the decision by Mr. Tufail to dig in to such information so soon and furnish it on his blog. He looks like a Pervez Musharaf in the making. Very disappointed.
