The PAF Squadron Leader is wearing a JHMCS helmet which is compatible only with MLUed F-16 or block 52. Both have BVR capability. But the AFM snippet talks about WVR F-16s. So that means the picture of the pilot was taken after 2008.

Also in exercise mode, the adversaries dont demonstrate full capabilities of skill and the machine so the boasts about the success are not that realistic.

The image is to represent one of the pilots who scored against the Typhoons, nothing to do with the actual exercise.
And if PAF wanted to boast about the outcome of this or any other exercise, we would have had something from DMA along with a few HUD shots.

The said exercise, Peace Hawk 1 took place some two years after the Typhoons were delivered to Saudis and the F-15 have been there for decades.

Dude after taking the usual pot shots and when replied in kind, you are being apologetic again.
There's no need for that, let's be realistic about one thing, whatever and no matter how many times a member posts something, it doesn't cost anyone a dime, however some folks are nitpicks either by nature or simply through frustration. If i re-post something, it's obviously due to some additional formation, in any case, my sole objective has always been to share any information and never to promote any friend or family member on the forum.

I have no insider information, but a cursory look at PAF does tend to show it likes to boast about itself in a sophisticated manner. Which is waht Mastan Khan is talking about.

If u dont have any insider info then how can u say all these things?

One point I was reading by Messiach was how they were focusing on ridiculous things like women fighter pilots, for what she described "as a man's job" and basically taking their eye off the ball regarding training and proficiency. A comment made after less than stellar performance of JF-17s against J-11s in the medium range engagements.

There are no OPs female fighter pilots in the airforce...all of them are transfered to slow flying after sometime..even the female officer(now a Sqn Ldr.) who got the sword of honour and also Flt Lt Ayesha who was the first female to clear OCU.

Another issues seems to be PAF tends to send its most qualified and best pilots for exercises abroad. Perhaps this is what Mastan Khan was specifically referring to.

The whole squadron participates in an exercise with foreign AFs be it in Pakistan or abroad...I know lots of avg pilots (Flt Lts to be precise) who arent even pair leaders yet who have participated in these exercise and flown against other AFs.

A truly professional airforce would not allow a foreign country to bomb its territories for decades, killing women and children and attacking wedding parties. A truly professional airforce would not banter with and befriend such an enemy country while such attacks were taking place. Let alone allowing highest privileges to such airforce and their civilian guests.

Downing a drone involves politics...same airforce shot down Iranian and Indian UAVs but they arent allowed to shoot USAF drones.

And for the corruption part...how can u blame it when u dont have any inside information.
