You're right, you shouldn't have to apologise for the actions of other people, just because you share their religion. That would be unfair no matter how you look at it.

The thing is though, these groups like the Islamic State are always trying very hard to portray themselves as the representatives of Islam, not just from their name Islamic State, but every time they release a video or commit an attack they always chant "Allah Akbar" over and over again.

So basically they are winning, they are successfully pushing their narrative, and people from all communities are believing this narrative. And it's hard not to believe it, when they are committing suicide attacks in places where people once felt safe. And due to the sheer volume of attacks which are occurring all over the world.

They try portraying themselves as Islamic but the fact that people don't see is that in order to keep these groups strong you need an external force to fund and supply them. The only people that are capable of doing that at a mass scale such as the ME AND have a history of it are the west. Once the groups capture oil fields then u dont need to fund them as much anymore u buy the oil. So how can hey be portrayed being Islamic if they betrayed are religion in the absolute initial stages? Then people in Europe and N.America are convinced this is what Islam is because they start yelling Allah hu Akbar. What kind of education did these people receive lol.
