Overview after Paris attacks

So pointing out something that is happening which normal human beings call truth is being soft, intolerant, ranting and whatnot - basically everything but pointing out the truth...So is it a sin to speak the truth in india or only in front of you? I that is the case kindly leave...it is my thread to discuss something which you find weak and disgusting no one is forcing you to accept it and call people names by showing your bigotry (intolerance)

My thread ... leave .. you don't own this thread , if you want your own thread open in a private space where it is not open to public scrutiny . Rest of your post was run of the mill incoherent stuff so i will let it slide .

Paris attacks: Syrian who passed through Greece on refugee route one of Isis killers – live

AFP is reporting that two Tunisian sisters aged 34 and 35 have been identified as victims of the Paris attacks.
According to the “provisional death toll, at least two Tunisians have been killed,” said the Tunisian minister for foreign affairs, Naoufel Laabidi.
Radio station Mosaïque FM reported that the sisters were celebrating a friend’s birthday on Friday evening when the attack took place.

Syrian passport found on Paris attacker's body belonged to refugee who passed through Greece

The holder of a Syrian passport found near the body of one of the gunmen who died in Friday night’s attacks in Paris passed though Greece in October, a Greek minister told Reuters.

“The holder of the passport passed through the island of Leros on 3 October 2015, where he was identified according to EU rules,” said Nikos Toscas, Greece’s deputy minister in charge of policing.

A Greek police source told Reuters that European countries had been asked to check the passport holder to see if they had been registered.

While this heavily implies that one of the gunman came into Europe along with refugees, Syrian passports are known to be valuable currency amongst those trying to enter Europe, and it is not yet confirmed whether the holder of the passport is indeed the perpetrator.

Three Paris attackers 'from Brussels neighbourhood'

Three of the eight attackers who killed 127 people in Paris on Friday night are believed to have come from the Brussels neighbourhood raided by police this afternoon.

French media reports that three attackers were from the Molenbeek neighbourhood, where police are currently carrying out raids.

RTL reports that the country’s federal prosecutor will make a statement this evening.

Reuters reports that one of the gunmen who died after attacking the Bataclan theatre last night was a Frenchman from Courcouronnes suburb south of Paris.

Courcouronnes lies roughly 20 miles south of the French capital and five miles south of Juvisy-sur-Orge, home to Amedy Coulibaly, who was involved in the Charlie Hebdo shootings in January.

Coulibaly killed four hostages in a kosher supermarket in the Porte de Vincennes before being shot by anti-terrorism forces.

Belgian police operations are under way in the Molenbeek district of Brussels, according to Belgium’s RTBF and RTL television.

One man has been arrested, RTBF reported, saying its journalists had seen heavily armed police search several houses in the area.

Mehdi Nemmouche, the terrorist who attacked the Jewish Museum of Brussels, lived in Molenbeek after returning from Syria.

Police detain Frenchman 'with gun' at Gatwick

A 41-year-old man from France is being questioned by police after “what appears to be a firearm” was discovered at Gatwick airport, Sussex police said.

I don't agree with it, but it's quite obvious from the polls that their narrative is winning. They are successfully connecting Islam with terror in the minds of people across the globe, with some help from Hollywood and the International Media.
I agree it is sad and heart wrenching to be associated with BS!

They are winning because having your country attacked creates a very emotional reaction, seeing your fellow countrymen/women/children being blown up in suicide attacks and cut down in the streets causes a very emotional reaction. And every major country has suffered from these same attacks.
Yes, I know...I am a little calm as I have seen at least on social media, people from Paris apologizing for not being aware of what other countries faced ...I posted 1 such which was doing the rounds:

I never expected to hear a French apologize....But this picture above was doing the rounds amongst my American friends so it was more calming :)

China for instance was very much opposed to the Iraq War and is one of the countries that has stood up to American imperialism on many occasions, even fighting against them directly in the Korean War. Yet we still get attacked by these extremists, even more than America does.
Everyone is getting attacked....Its what we call pandora box!

And they always target civilians who have nothing to do with government policy.
Which is why I was frustrated initially!

what's with the oversized bold font ?
sorry about that...those werre life updates and I had to copy and paste them separately as I couldnt do them in 1 copy hence the different font sizes....And some of the bold are different incidents...Reading helps make one understand!

The reason IS keeps doing these attacks, is because it works.

Humans are easy to manipulate, and fear is one of the strongest human emotions.

They WANT to foster a divide between Muslims and non-Muslims, and sadly it is working. The terrorists are winning, they are successfully propagating their narrative and people are believing it.

much, thank you, read it.

not surprised to see French and Belgian citizens, some of the muslim youth in the EU is very radicalized, wahhabi preachers like Anjem Choudary have a significant following in the UK.

Most of these guys are young and in their 20s to 30, a witness to the attacks described one of the concert killers as being very young and "barely 20"

could have something to do with their formative years being in a "foreign" and maybe a somewhat islamophobic post 9/11 society in the west/us.. either way, they've grown into monsters now so no point sympathizing with whatever drove them over the edge, they must be put down.

I still dont get why BBC made him famous by interviewing him repeatedly when he has no formal education in any field related to Islam! No certificate, degree or diploma in Islamic studies, Quran studies, Muhadith not even Shariah nor Usuluddin!

I hate that freak...they kept him, popularized him for reasons unknown! He was a nobody and suddenly he became the daily face to talk about Shariah in UK?

They should also start interviewing our butchers to see their view on plastic surgeries! I am sure they can get some interesting answers!

Well, to a certain degree I agree and dont at all understand why some in the West esp countries where social service doe benefit them like Sweden and UK....how such kids can go soo wrong and influenced!

oh come on, BBC didn't make him famous, his message found resonance among large sections of disaffected immigrant youth who chose not to integrate.

and while there is much to criticize the west regarding their foreign policy in the ME etc, and maybe there is even some xenophobia in those societies, they're a much more advanced group than islamic societies and they're certainly not to blame for what just happened in Paris.

.
justify it to anyone.
I am sorry to hear your mental state

She didnt need to justify she explained and wanted others to know or discuss coz she did it on open media not in her room or just to her friends....

You trying to play god and read her mind is really sad! Its her wish to write whatever she likes ......But why do you feel the eager need to judge her? Lets say she is justifying it...So? Is it bad what she said? It is fine when people want to "come open" and "justify" that Charlie made fun of dead Russians coz it is freedom of speech or expression but god forbid she justifies her stand to not change her picture though she belongs from Paris and has every right to put forward how she feels!

Actually he was still unknown to majority except the mosque he used to go to...But BBC repeatedly interviewed him...Despite knowing (coz it was online and open information I am sure BBC had excess to internet) that he had no formal education in Islam or any field linked to it! He still doesnt really hold one...But he was repeatedly interviewed for is insane views coz he brought in money or viewers or something! But it wasnt a learned he was interviewing!

, they're a much more advanced group
who?

Why does she feel the need to justify herself then? If you are confident in your convictions then you shouldn't need to unilaterally state them like this. She's trying to make this tragedy about herself and her views, that is what I have a problem with. Why go on Facebook or wherever and make a big show about you NOT doing something?
