OTTOMAN EMPIRE WAR SONG

I heared it.. But caliphate will return with Mahdi aleyhisselam i suppose, not with politicans..
We should work together, and co-operate, with that we can have a union like the Europian union, and something like the Nato. We CAN NOT have that, unless the people choose their leaders. Politicians is a part of developing, and working together.

Erdogan calls for a secular Egypt

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Monday called on Egyptians to adopt a secular constitution, noting that secularism does not mean renouncing religion.

A secular state respects all religions, Erdogan said in an interview with the private satellite TV channel Dream before heading to Egypt for a two-day visit.

"Do not be wary of secularism. I hope there will be a secular state in Egypt," Erdogan said.

He stressed that people have the right to choose whether or not to be religious, adding that he is a Muslim prime minister for a secular state.

Erdogan said Egypt needs to meet some requirements for establishing a modern state, including better management of human resources, more attention to education, improved management of financial resources and eliminating corruption.

The idea of adopting a secular system for Egypt has fueled controversy between the country's liberal and Islamist powers since the 25 January revolution.

Liberal and secular groups fear an Islamist takeover of the parliament through the upcoming elections scheduled for November. They fear such a takeover would give Islamists control over the drafting of the constitution.

Egypt’s largest political group, the Muslim Brotherhood, has been touting a secular state with Islamic law as a primary source of legislation. But some liberal powers suggest using international human rights conventions as a source.

I agree with him, a country and its laws should treat people the same regrdless of their religion, color, race, sex, ect... That's only fair, and it is not against Islam, its actually what Islam calls for.

-except Caliphate- Any state cannot be a real Islamic state and any Islamic state cannot be successful in the world of Capitalism and Materialism.. (There is many bad exemples in the world)
A respectful (to all beliefs) secular state can be a suitable selection in the world of today for muslim countries..

A Muslim State can be successful, a Muslim state is the closest thing to a secular state out of all types of state in the histroy.... Liberalism was introduced to Egypt by Al-Azhar Sheikhs who went to Europe and made a lot of studies that it has nothing against Islam. In the Quran 60:8---- Allah does not forbid you from those who do not fight you because of religion and do not expel you from your homes - from being righteous toward them and acting justly toward them. Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly.
God tells Prophet Muhammed in Quran 88:(22-23)
So remind, [O Muhammad]; you are only a reminder. You are not over them a controller.
Quran 02-259--- Sahih International
There shall be no compulsion in the religion.
Those are great rules of Islam, and adly we don't apply them anymore.. Tell me how is that against liberalism or secularism ? Nothing in my mind

Can you give an exemple as a succesful islamic state in the world of capitalism?
Turkey.... I told you eralier that i define Muslim state as a state were people are treated equally. to be more correct, their is nothing called a Muslim state, states are not human, they don't eat, drink, ho to hell, or heaven. The right term is a state with Muslim majority. Turkey is the most succesful country according to my how i define it. I don't consider Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Iran, Pakistan, Taliban to be more Muslim states than Turkey. It really depends on how you define it.

I agree with you 100%. I think this is the way Egypt will go, except for Islamic laws in inheritage, gay marriage, abortion and stuff like that.. Its more of what the people want thu, no Egyptian would let anybody impose anything on them, especially when it comes to religion. Most Egyptian women wears Hijab, and they are not forced to wear it like other countries in the region. Their choice, you can only respect what they choose for themselves, and it goes on with everything else. What is funny is, that the women in other countries in the region who forces their women to wear Hijab, take off the Hijab once they leave their countries, Egyptian women don't. So, imposing something won't work, or make peop;le more religious.
i.e i am not implying that women who wear Hijab are better or more religious than the one the ones who doesn't, i am just stating a fact. I personally don't find Hijab to be part of Islam, its more or a culture to me.

. .
Don't speak false..! Hijab is a part of Islam but not a basic condition of Imaan..
I am not speaking bad or anything, my mother, and my sister do wear Hijab, but me personally i don't think their is any mention of Hijab(Women hair cover) in Quran. I don't want to argue about it, but we agree to disagree.
