OTTOMAN EMPIRE WAR SONG

Ottoman empire was the strongest power in the Renaissance times , we were the strongest empire in 16th and 17th century but second siege of vienna killed and drained our resources etc and by 1700 our expansion stopped but even in 1700 we were very strong 1800+ we were very sharp decline 1880+ dissolution in the times of first siege of vienna we were the superpower ( even western historians etc say this many proofs) -- In 1875, during the reign of Sultan Abdülaziz, the Ottoman Navy had 21 battleships and 173 other types of warships, ranking as the third largest navy in the world after the British and French navies. e.g mahmudiye ship was the biggest ship for a very long time , even i play a game called Empire total war which is 1700+ to like 1800 and ottoman empire is a very strong nation and now i conquered all of safavid persia on the game but financially nearly dead as very high upkeep cost of army its very realistic

I really don't know the difference between both musics, but i can tell you that i find them very similar, even till now.... I will try to translate it for you later, will send you a message once i do.

I meant, do you know another historic music or song from Ottoman Egypt..?
I wait the translate of the march.. Does it involve a negative word about Ottoman? or positive?

No, not at all.. They are talking about how organized their army is, that it surprises even the enemy. Also, they are saying that their march shakes their enemy, and makes them scared of them. Then they also talk about how great their numbers, and how their arms, and horses are different than anybody's else. They also talk about how great their leaders, and how brave they are in the battle. It all goes on like that, nothing against anybody.... I hope that helped. Also, i don't know of any historic music from Ottoman Egypt, but i will let you know if i find any!

Nazman(pronounced as Naz Man) not Osman, Nazman is a word coming from Nezam, it means organized.

Egypt's position is very complicated in Ottoman Empire..

The period of Ottoman, Mumammad Ali Pasha Period, sieges of English and French, period of khidives..

Muhammed Ali Pasha was planning to announce the independence of Egypt and Syria from the Ottoman Empire, but after he was forced to cut his army into less than half, and to leave Syria, he was given the rule of Egypt for his life time, and his family after him. Egypt became a Khedivate around 1867, but that all started with Muhammed Ali. It still was not 100% independent from the Ottoman Empire. Then Egypt was occupied by the GB in 1882 for 76 years....... You have to remember that parts of Muhammed Ali war was actually wars fought for or with the Ottoman Empire, not Egypt. Like the war in Greece, and the war against the Wahabis.

Those are some amazing pictures, very rare to me..... Btw so you know, the Muslim Brotherhood who are about to rule Egypt( I am not a big fan of them btw) were actually created by Hassan El Bana in 1928 because he wanted to bring the Muslim world together after the fall of the Ottoman Empire. Thats why when Erdogan came to Egypt couple of months ago, the youth members of the Muslim Brotherhood were waiting for him chanting caliphate caliphate, just worth mentioning.

What are the specs of you computer system?

And yeah, the Ottomans terrified the Europeans so much that even at the mention of the word "Turk" would strike , fear would strike in their hearts.

But even when the Ottoman Empire was at its weakest (Europeans would refer to it as the "Sick man of Europe"), the Ottoman Sultan (i forgot his name) didn't stand by and let the French (or was it british?) make a theater play about the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), he took up his sword and threatened war against the European countries if they didn't bring an end to that play, which they did immediately.

Erdogan calls for a secular Egypt

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Monday called on Egyptians to adopt a secular constitution, noting that secularism does not mean renouncing religion.

A secular state respects all religions, Erdogan said in an interview with the private satellite TV channel Dream before heading to Egypt for a two-day visit.

"Do not be wary of secularism. I hope there will be a secular state in Egypt," Erdogan said.

He stressed that people have the right to choose whether or not to be religious, adding that he is a Muslim prime minister for a secular state.

Erdogan said Egypt needs to meet some requirements for establishing a modern state, including better management of human resources, more attention to education, improved management of financial resources and eliminating corruption.

The idea of adopting a secular system for Egypt has fueled controversy between the country's liberal and Islamist powers since the 25 January revolution.

Liberal and secular groups fear an Islamist takeover of the parliament through the upcoming elections scheduled for November. They fear such a takeover would give Islamists control over the drafting of the constitution.

Egypt’s largest political group, the Muslim Brotherhood, has been touting a secular state with Islamic law as a primary source of legislation. But some liberal powers suggest using international human rights conventions as a source.
