Make an effort yaar, the whole world is not just Pakistanis, who in their right mind will believe that this guy and his entourage lived there without the Pakistanis knowing -- can you even imagine the implication of what you are suggesting - if they don't know what's going on in their own country, why are they needed - I don't think you understand that?
I just do not agree with this attitude
When there is no success, the only reason which is cited for it is a lack of effort.
When there is success, all that comes in way of acknowledgment is
"so you never really put in an effort before."
Sorry muse but there could be many facts about how OBL survived that we are not aware of.
Only fixating on the fact that he was in Pakistan and attributing it to our lack of will or lack of loyalty to the cause is not OK with me.
When OBL was encircled in Tora Bora which team of ISI or Pak Fauj helped him out?
A war was started by the only superpower in this world just to hunt him down and when the chance presented itself, the best god damn army and agency in the world failed to capture or kill this man.
So did USA love OBL or is it possible that there is always a chance that you fail?
For 10 hellish years, we all paid a bloody price for his escape.
Most of all, the innocent Pakistanis and our Army bore the brunt of their attacks.
So i can say with conviction that anything is in possible in this world.
Instead of being happy with his death, we suddenly point our guns at our ISI and Army.
I am sorry but these things are quite complicated.
The only bottom line here is that we never ever protected Al Qaeda from anyone and did help in the elimination of OBL.
The bottom line here is that many Al Qaeda operatives were captured by Pakistan and handed over since 2001 till date.
The bottom line is that Pakistan has waged an active war against Al Qaeda since long.
The bottom line is that Pakistan Army and ISI have been targeted more by Al Qaeda and its affiliates, than any other group.
