well now US has no reason to drone the tribal areas because they were after OBL and they have killed him...so the notion of droning tribal areas is null adn void.

I had a better idea.. 4-5 men in a small compound. PA kills him and these 4-5 men at night and hand over to US and say they killed him in Afghanistan.. nobody knows.. US happy.. Pakistan happy.. world is happy..

this would work....OBL had only three armed men who were terrorists ...so no need for the navy seals...a small battalion would have done the job

As suspicions grow about how Osama bin Laden spent years living next door to Pakistan’s military, there are indications emerging that the terrorist mastermind was sheltered by one of the militant groups that has enjoyed tolerance, if not support, from Pakistani security services.

A police officer familiar with Mr. bin Laden’s compound in the scenic town of Abbottabad said the location was used by Hizbul Mujahedeen, one of the biggest militant outfits in the disputed territory of Kashmir. Like other groups fighting Indian troops in the borderlands, HM’s radical membership has never been rounded up by Pakistani forces and some analysts say Islamabad covertly supports the group.

“The place belonged to Hizbul Mujahedeen,” the police officer said. “But the authorities have asked us not to share any information about the exact ownership.”

Since the area is a high security one and if PA did at night.. no one in media will know.. after all they didnt knew he was there in 5 years.. So all in all it was a mess...

!-2 helis cant just fly frm afghanistan land in abbotabad and combat OBL n his guards n just flyover...... without even having known the area............
ISI (even according to PM n Obama was onboard) BUT!!! They dnt want to become prominent........they dnt want to advertise tht they helped kill OBL.................

WHY???

Coz tht would make Pakistan\ISI the direct and the main target of Alqaeda and other terrorist organisations!!!(which we r now).................Thts why security has been beefed up since the death of OBL in Pakistan......

Other wise, How is it possible that two helicopters enter deep into Pakistani territory, and is not noticed on radar?

See This is the catch 22 situation Pakistan is in. It is having to chose between complicity and Incompetence for ISI. Now the choice is pretty simple.. No one in their right minds would want to chose complicity since the repercussions are tremendous. But with the whole greater then God image that some people have of ISI, it is impossible for them to digest the reasoning of incompetence / corruption of ISI. and hence the dilemma ....
