People should check following sources for details. They answer all questions.
Account of a reporter: http://www.thomasweibel.ch/artikel/110808_new_yorker_getting_bin_laden.pdf
Account of a soldier: Killing Bin Laden – Operation Neptune Spear 2011 - Osprey Publishing
Official disclosure: The Decision in Favor of Operation Neptune Spear: Presidential Leadership and Political Risk | Journal of Political Risk
These different disclosures corroborate each
Seasoned terrorists are really good at concealing their true identity. They create a fake personal profile, learn new languages, intermingle with the civilians and avoid technological gadgets to avoid detection for a long time. Their cover is not easily blown because they have contacts who assist them in difficult situations. It takes time (sometimes years) to blow their cover and the process is far from easy. Try to imagine searching for the right needle in a haystack.
Saddam Hussein and Muammar Qaddafi were leaders of nations (not terrorists); it was impossible to prevent publicity of their fates and not politically sound to treat them like terrorists after capture.
Qaddafi, in particular, was captured by rebels and lynched moments later; this event sparked global criticism instead of celebration. Even Americans were not happy.
Q2: What were his wives doing in that compound?
Q3: Why was the compound demolished after the operation?
Q4: Why is a doctor in detention in Pakistan under charges of treason?
These are legit questions, my friend.
'Al-Qaeda statement' confirms Osama Bin Laden's death - BBC News
Al-Qaeda vows revenge for bin Laden death - Al Jazeera English
Militant factions and even Intelligence agencies tend to spread disinformation about individuals for as long as they are deemed important for their interests. In reality, these individuals are expendable and often quietly disposed of after they have fulfilled their end of bargain. Even some renowned Taliban figures despise the roles of agents; they consider such roles and Intelligence agencies (in general) un-Islamic. Not kidding.
All those drone attacks in Pakistan? Ever wondered whom they were hitting?

Or you met a different man?I was living in abbotabad in those days and house of class mate was adjacent to the compound where US marines carried out operation. We used to play cricket nearby and met person resembling Osama bin Laden but he was not Osama. He used to live over other. He was young age around 45. He used to work on daily wages and people used to call him Osama bin Laden due to his resemblance with Osama. Soon after the abbotabad operation his whole family disappeared.

Apples and Oranges comparison, my friend.USA killed Sadaam Hussain and openly humilated him in till he was hanged to death. Even his hanging video was leaked.
General Qaddafi of Libya was dragged on streets and videos were made and shown to media. His body was shown to journalists and pictures were shown to common people.

Q1: Why did Al-Qaeda network acknowledge his loss during Operation Neptune Spear then?None of such things happened in case of Osama. Osama who was considered as dead before operation was surprisingly hunted down in a surprising operation. Truth is there but hidden in deep layers of lies...... And I guess after 50 years at least the truth of Osama Wil be made public with all proofs. And at that time people will give a damn about it....... I personally doubt both Abotabad operation as well as killing of Osama. Reason I need live proof not some non sense stories or media articles..........
May be Osama died a natural death and some one was playing the games by launching a fake Osama. This fake Osama when become useless was hunted down as real Osama while soul of real Osama was wondering what the hell is going on..........
Apart from humor many things r puzzling and confusing......... May be u met with fake one who was just doing his job by obeying his master's in order to justify war on terror.......
