Opinionated - How India can "checkmate" China in a week if war breaks out

Having a choice to procure best weapons from many countries is an advantage.

Those tankers taking different route can also be targetted.

not an advantage when you only have 15 days of ammunition and rely on imports after. that is if they are even able/willing to deliver, then for more sophisticated items like missiles there is a lead time before they can deliver even if they wanted to, nevermind real time consuming equipment like actual fighter jets, if a Rafael goes down india is unlikely to replace it until after any war is done and over with, if a j-10 goes down, china already has 10 more on the way to replace it.

its also a nightmare logistics-wise, you got AK variants with its 7.62 x 39 , you also use nato 5.56 and nato 7.62x 51 all used in similar roles. worse yet, you import even 5.56 rounds lol.

what happens when russia delivers anti-ship missiles but Israel doesn't send its barak-8 ? go on mission without any air defence?

the whole premise of this thread is dumb as a rock anyways. Indians have zero ability to blockade the malacca straits. india is behind the china in literally every single way possible, whether that is in qty or quality, you got 36 rafael, china's got 100+ actual 5th gens. you got 4 p-15A/B destroyers, china has like 24 052D destroyers, never mind the 055. you got t-90, china has type-96/99, but also type-15 for use in high altitudes. you got bramos, china has actual hypersonic missiles and gliders.

simply put, china isn't armed and trained to fight india, china is armed and trained to possibly fight the US, and while it is currently only capable of that in its immediate neighborhood, india is a military midget compare to the US and would get slaughtered attempting to do something as dumb as fight china by the malacca strait or do anything other than defence with its jets(occasional targets of opportunity aside).

But with very few air bases located very high in Himalaya, I think not more than 100 fighters can not be operated by China at a time. What will China do with those J10s? Their radars will jammed by Rafale or they will be destroyed even before they can see Rafale. Mirage 2000 carries Mica and state of art EW and very difficult to counter. We saw this in Balakot air strike.

Logistic wise, India is in a far better condition.

We have world's best cargo aircrafts operated on highest air bases and air strips. We have world's best choppers for logistics. Even if all lands routes are destroyed, we can reasonably deploy trooms and other weapons in Himalayas while China can not.

China has 100 J20 yet they have bought Su 35 to counter India's Rafale. Enough said.

Zero ability?????

Which hypersonic tactical missile does China have?

simply put, china isn't armed and trained to fight india, china is armed and trained to possibly fight the US, and while it is currently only capable of that in its immediate neighborhood, india is a military midget compare to the US and would get slaughtered attempting to do something as dumb as fight china by the malacca strait or do anything other than defence with its jets(occasional targets of opportunity aside).

This is true. China is trained to fight US but has lost to vietnam and Japan.

When did China lose to Vietnam and Japan lmao?

. .
check on google. Hint: Google rape of nan king.
So Vietnam lost to US aswell?
Ofc, I dont expect an indian to differentiate between tactical victory and winning the war.

As those toys of yours on the wish list, okkkk, you have better toys, Jai hind, ok, kid, time to go to kindergarten.

Yes you read that right. You are surprised?

China has a big weakness nobody seems to be talking about. Before we talk about that let us do a small military comparision.

Who would win in a war between India and China? Why? - Quora

As you can see China is superior to India in almost every category except tanks and artillery. But in this scenario China is attacking India. India only has to defend itself. Now we can talk about China's biggest weakness:

Geography

We are going to divide the war into land, sea and air theatres. We start with discussing a land war between Indian army and PLA. No need to mention manpower because its the same.

Land warfare- India vs China

The fact that China has 35000 armoured vehicles and India only 12000 does not mean anything considering the geograpgy. The border is spread out 100s of kilometers of rocky, inhospitable, monstrously huge himalayas with narrow bases.

The first thing we can do is to destroy bridges, turn all weather roads to ashes and block strategic mountain passes. When this done China has no hope of advancing.

Air warfare- India vs China

Fanboys will be talking about superior chinese quantity and quality, but what about logistics? Take a look:

main-qimg-c3ede32ecd944e8a27fdfcc37254540f-pjlq

PLAAF only has 5 large airbases in Tibet and 2 in Xinjiang. Meanwhile we have 20 bases with flight range of the LAC. The majority of the 3000 PLAAF aircraft are on the eastern side. 3500 km away from where the action will be happening.

main-qimg-ced305b39114e1fd771a81ed42f39ce5-pjlq

This would mean mid-air refueling. It would longer time to respond to Indian attack. Should I also mention that we would be able to track them before they reach war theater?

There is yet another logistic problem. Cargo weight....

Indian airbases with the exception of a few are the on the plains.

The airbases in Tibet are at an altitude of 4000m above sea level.

The lower air density at such high altitudes hampers jet engines and limits the amount of Weapons and fuel military aircraft can carry while still being able to take off.

Meteorological conditions across the Tibetan Plateau, moreover, are unpredictable, making it difficult to plan high-intensity air campaigns.

In short, the PLAAF cannot hope to run a Sustained air campaign.

Sea warfare- India vs China

This one is very interesting. China has the largest navy in the world. We are massively outclasses in both quantity and quality. Look at the submarine ratio or destroyer ratio.

But again the poor chinese have a geography problem.

We are talking about the choke point in strait of malacca

main-qimg-4bf5a031327f4dd63b240d0803c427f5-lq

If the Chinese navy entered the Indian ocean region with the goal of engaging the Indian navy, they would have to come through this strait. The channel is very narrow. Only 2 km at its narrowest point. It would be difficult for the Chinese to send naval assets since Indian navy is going to guard the entrance via Indira port.

What do fighter jets, tanks and warship run on? Oil.... 80% of China's oil is imported through the straict of malacca. A naval blockade would bring a oil crisis in China.

This is why i said that China can be checkmated in a week by India.

CCP can push all they want, but they will meet strong resistance and retaliation from the Indian Army, Airforce and Navy.

And then they will learn their lesson.

Jai Hind!

All that BS you listed could come to naught, if China pushes from north and reaches Dehli in couple of days. Bust.

Pakistan had also planned dinner in Delhi. China said they can reach Delhi in couple of days but couldn't move in inch soon as they faced Indian army. However, we respect the right of day dreaming.

.
Type 99A tanks are not efficient? I saw that months ago, China did send some 99A tanks right in front of the Indian border line. Did anyone see that those 99A tanks were not moving well? In comparison, I read a piece of news saying that the Russian tanks, even the T-90's were the real not efficient vehicles on high land area since they were not designed to be used in high altitude area. BTW, China has type 15 light weight tanks, how about India? Got some Korean made light weight tanks yet?
You need to hear yourselves talk. When T90 tanks were brought up to face those 99As, immediately there was a chorus of comments dutifully repeated in these fora that those tanks were inefficient and what everybody and his aunt needed was Type 15s instead.

Your message. It doesn't matter which individual said that, but there it is.

All that BS you listed could come to naught, if China pushes from north and reaches Dehli in couple of days. Bust.
True.

Or if India pushes from the east and reaches Rawalpindi in a couple of weeks. Bust.

If horses' arses season has started, I am sure you have better ones to display.

Emergency purchased maybe your country things..
Dude, a project from designning phase to entering service, that takes at least 7-10 years.

50 J20s bro not 100...but we can't call it a true 5th generation fighter since it has a canard delta layout

1. So you can manufacture J10s in a single day if India shot down 100s of your junk by its AD system in a minimal timeline.. Remember the Mia Channu incident even if it was a human error, BrahMos successfully managed to penetrate deep into the territory of 🇵🇰, key point is we have demonstrated HQ9 (🇨🇳)or none of their ADS can intercept the high speed projectile, So the objective is clear and louder...

2. Propulsion system of Barak 8 including the dual pulse rocket motors and control systems have been designed and developed by DRDO.. many other subsystems are outsourced to Indian contractors like Bharat Dynamics Limited

3. We have a total of 8 P15A/B destroyers and majority of your naval assets are deployed against the 🇺🇸, NATO, Japan & 🇦🇺. Time, logistics and distance will play a major role here if PLAN wants to engage the Indian Navy in IOR

4. Your MBTs will become a sitting duck infront of our ATGMs
