Operation Swift Retort Memorial at PAF base Sargodha

.
The second one had extra SAAB, 4 mirages and 4 thunders. May be the Poster is Mushaf only formation and the one on memorial is full PAF formation
Yeah, & what appears to be a TPS-77 Radar system at the bottom...

.
When are they going to put a stop on "milking" this small victory in a very small skirmish on 27th Feburary, for the last 6 months all I see is unstopped "milking" going on related to FAF small success in small skirmish.

It almost became a full-scale war. So "milking" or not, a country the size of Pakistan, with no allies (literally none) against a lot of odds managed all of this.

Pakistan shall not be bullied, at least not from its neighbour.

I'm sorry, but who is 'they'?

Care to clarify.

Because I hadn't seen or heard a peep from the PAF since the skirmish on 27th Feb. Most of the talking was done by the (DG)ISPR.

All they've (PAF) done is put up a monument & celebrated the victory in a segment of the Air Force Day, something that is annually held.

On the flip side, the ones who got the deep end of the stick have been receiving Medals, staring in a Video Game and have celebrated a fabricated F-16 kill.

'Milking' would be referred to something where one was to benefit from an event.

So, has the PAF benefited in any manner to date? Have they used our HEROS as publicity stunts? Are they being sponsored by Pepsi, P&G, Shell?

Actually, the DA-20 is present in both the Artwork & Monument, however the SAAB 2000 AWAC was added in the Monument along with the Mirages.

The su30 shoot down was pretty new considering the squadron was raised just in 2017. It must have all the latest Isreali gadgets and what not.

Recalling the clips and chatter of the crowd gathered on around the Indian pilot shotdown in Azad Kashmir and the mention of a sikh pilot, I am unable to see any sikh in the group photo of the squadron apart from the commanding officer group captain Harpreet Singh Luthra.

Would be interesting to know the current status of this man on right. The chap on the left however was kicked out in the aftermath of swift retort.

As per Media reports, He flew SU-30 in last year Republic day. So He is/was still an active duty pilot flying SU-30. So Indians can't claim Group Captain rank officers doesn't fly jets let alone SU-30 !

What does this mean? Who Indians claim that Group Captains don't fly ?
Please remember , even the Air Chief of the IAF ( Dhanoa ) flies regularly. Even the new one ( Bhadauria ) is 'current' on a number of jets. Now compare with .....

More importantly, staying current on aircraft with the intent to joyride for points is of little use and it is foolish to think it means anything.

The USAF has had effective leadership from senior leadership coming from a transport background with no flight time after yet some of their policies and planning for combat aircraft(fighters and bombers) has had profound positive impact for years to come.

A strategic mind and insight into operations is required as the leader, you don’t need to take your shot down pilot into the air for morale boosting as a required line on your resume then.
Id rather have a non-flying chief capable of executing decisions leading to kill ratios of 20:1 instead of a tummied fellow taking out someone who was an involuntary tourist into the air.
