Knowing you, I would not be holding my breath in suspense. I would likely turn out to be another BS story that would go something like this:

he replied.... that for a counter attack.. PAF was ready.. so PAF planned, loaded for a counter strike in 15 mint.

I also believe we gave the right measure of response as anything more would have escalated out of control and IA would have had to respond.
The PAF action needs to be understood as a media projection of its prowess. The aim was never to cause harm but to pass a message on to the Indian polity and brass as well as their international accomplises and the world media and hence part of the sane world that messing with Paklands would get them a bloody nose. Sir, I don't begrudge him for that. But actually he was too talky. He could have been less forthcoming after sounding his denials to Pakistani claims. But no. Every two three days later an interview or comment associated to him came up on the media. His conduct exceeded the norms of dignified professional military men. His staff too were no different. It began to seem at the time that the whole military top brass were part of Modi's campaign staff. Hell bent on propagating Modi's narrative repeatedly.
