One word: hilsa!

The only debate is dried or fresh.

They are trying really hard in this thread, what do you think?

they can do better.
they can jump still higher.

you just dont believe in them

. .
Why not 2500000 years old when hilsa first conquered darkness in the rivers?

That made me laugh so hard btw haha....then that guy answers all serious like still. Nah just 5000 years ago!

mans obsessed with 5000.

give him 5000. stop being baniya about it

.
dude just admit it u shoud not have said 5000 yrs... now your own links are not supporting your claim. nowhere in ur posted link its mentioned that bengali identity is 5000 yrs old so you need to retract your statement

thora kam kar le bhai 2 dhai hazar pe aa ja..

Well done for posting GENUINE sources. Something indians on PDF never do.

By the way, even your own sources claim, confirmed bangladeshi history going back 2500 years ago. Not 5,000 years as some here have claimed.

Lol, either you are lying or you haven't even read the links. Nobody could write an exact year. There are clear mentions that Chalcolithic/Neolithic artifacts have been discovered which dates back to at least 1500bc or earlier. The beginning of the settlements could easily be between 4000-5000 years back.

No, random youtube video won't help somebody like me who likes to rely on academic sources.

I'm talking about agricultural settlements. These early agricultural settlements and their unique traditions helped Bangladeshis to create a distinct culture from the rest of the subcontinent.

That's traitors hailed as hero. They took an oath and they broke it. Will burn in hell over it.
They were trained by Pakistani pilots. With that kind of intelligence there was no way Pakistan could have won the war. Still we pit up a good fight.

.
The post is not about the political scenario. It's just to demonstrate the abilities of Bangladeshi pilots.

The operation was before IAF participation in the war.

The refinery was used to fuel Pakistani aircraft and military.

The pilots were part of Mukti Bahini and launched the strike from nearby Indian towns.
No Indisn airforce participation yet u say u used their airbase
Loooool

Yes, by giving us access to electricity from their plants and soon Bhutan/Nepal.
Also exports have passed 1 billion US dollars a year to them and growing 50% a year.
Sure they are "paying us back" lol.
Enjoy....I day kill more muslims and side with Hindus for money. That will help u

.
We know the fact that East Pakistani airmen were not only good but very good and capable.
Don't know much about present level of BD airmen or any significant operation conducted by BAF in last quarter century.

.
The operation is about four Bangladeshi traitors on a mission to strike their own country's oil refinery, the chief fuel depot for all their own airforce's fuel. They were flying an Otter in a foggy moonlit night during a blackout imposed by the country they betrayed, at an extremely low altitude and with a speed of only 120 miles/hr and with no connection with ATC.
Here, Ive fixed the post for everyone.

you are confusing occupants of a land at specific time period with civiliation, both are different things...mere loling wont strengthen your argument. there is no such thing as bengali civilization, period.
Says the people who claim Indus valley civilization as their own.

At least, bulk of the Bengalis today are the same people who inhabited the Ganges delta region 5000 years ago. Then those people were known as Bong tribe. The very name of Bongal/Bengal/Bangla/Bangalah etc came from that Bong tribe. They practiced wet rice cultivation in fertile deltaic land and used to mark their land holding with earthen boundary which was known as 'Al'. Bongal/Bangal is the amalgamation of this two word, Bong+Al. As the landscape was dotted by numerous Al and inhabited by Bong people so it initially known as Bongal. Which with times became known as Bangal. We still to date call those earthen boundary as 'Al' or 'Ail'. bulk of the people in Bangladesh today are the descendent of those prehistoric Bong tribe. Outside infusion and assimilation happened at later ages, but mainstream remain the same.

Bong pilots trained by Pakistanis back stabbed, Nothing to be proud of for a normal person. But BAF in 21st century is merely a flying club. Anyway bongs should be forever thankful to India for making country for them, and giving bongs opportunity to focusing on economy and development without worrying and spending over defense.

Why people are taking it so personally?

The post is not political neither to provoke anybody, rather just about the skills of Bangladeshi pilots.

Don't you realize 1971 and betrayal by the Bengali nation is still a sore and hurtful topic for us?

Here, Ive fixed the post for everyone.

You missed that they were well trained too, by the same country.
