Please don't wait for such a scenario its lik imran khan saying "we'd stop Nato supplies if drone strikes during talks ".. we would love to see the brothers unite again and hope for return of East Pakistan... But don expect India to help u by Invading cause only thing that BD has to offer is a sea of humanity which by this time you should know that is the last thing India wants
Since you did not go to Harvard and not becoming the foreign minister of India anytime soon I would count on the Harvard educated scholar on uniting us with....not the Pakistanis...but our long lost brothers of India...oh so much fun in store for all of us!

.
Indians of India!:D
It is unlikely because neither the citizens of India nor the citizens of Bangladesh would like it.

And some fools think that Bangladesh can unite with West Bengal. That is now impossible as well. That would have been possible at the time of BD independence, not anymore. West Bengal has now developed very strong linkages to the rest of India. The institutions now rely on a pan-Indian network.

What instead can happen after many decades from now is that visa free travel without restrictions can be initiated between India and Bangladesh. More of what like between USA and Canada. Independent but very close nations.

Don't try to be smart.

BD has a GDP population of 150 and a GDP of 150 billion.

Maldives has a population of 0.4 million and a GDP of 2 billion.

BD's economy is also growing far quicker than India now and is expected to be growing quicker till 2018(by IMF), albeit only marginally quicker by then, in comparison to India.

Currently total BD defence spending is around 3 billion dollars a year and this figure is going up in proportion with the increase in BD's GDP, so the day is not now far off when India faces a BD with a conventional military on a par with Pakistan.

India will have to adjust it's defence posture in the future to take into account a BD that has a relatively powerful military.

Rather than making one liners, try to engage in serious debate.

The only one being smart(?) is you. BD leaders are not afforded the luxury of as many wet dreams, they have to deal with the reality of an India as their neighbour. Pakistan has historically different issues with India, BD does not have the same. Provoking a powerful neighbour for no reason would be very stupid, after all no matter what your strength, it is not about to match India. Nor would it help in having India treat you benignly with respect to the water you are getting. No matter what your opinion on how much water India should give, best to remember that it could always be worse. Comparing BD economic growth to India's is silly, the base is not the same. An India that feels threatened by BD will allocate enough resources to put you under a lot of pressure. Easy to talk, the walk is not as simple a matter.

Feel free to disagree. Bother us though when BD actually takes both that position & shows the resources to back it. Till then, don't waste our time with your Pamela Handerson fantasies.

.
Yes, the creation of a separate state was inevitable, I don't see any way around that, the leaders in West Pakistan did speed up that process though.

.
I didn't ask for your pity. But simply how they came up with it.

And you are only making a fool out of yourself in front of Bangladeshis by portraying Hasina handing out and receiving various gifts and awards. She does those everyday.

"Believe" is not a word

That 10 million is only an estimation. Not an exact number.

http://www.genocidebangladesh.org/?page_id=46
Yes 10 million is an estimation just as number of Jews killed in second world war is also an estimation. Anyone with iota of brain would understand that it is not possible to know the exact number and estimated number is very close to reality, unless off course he deliberately ignores the obvious.

.
the funny thing is when u see the votes .. u will find out most of the votes that bangladesh see india is a saviour is from indians :P

.
Provoking a powerful neighbour for no reason would be very stupid, after all no matter what your strength, it is not about to match India.

Let's get this straight.

An economically weak India that is unable to make it's own weapons by definition cannot be "powerful".

You do not have a good economy and have to resort to importing expensive weapons.

You are welcome to call India "powerful" when India can at least run an stable economy.

. Comparing BD economic growth to India's is silly, the base is not the same.

BD GDP/capita is 1000 dollars compared to the current 1100-1200 dollars for India so I do not see much of a
difference there.

China that is at 6000 dollars is growing at nearly 8% a year so India's large population should be no impediment to
much faster GDP growth.

An India that feels threatened by BD will allocate enough resources to put you under a lot of pressure. Easy to talk, the walk is not as simple a matter.

No, it simply cannot do that.

It will allocate a certain amount of resources as large forces will need to be maintained against Pakistan and China, with China being a HUGELY MORE POWERFUL state than India.

Unless India can keep the relatively India-friendly Awami League in power permanently then India will find it's
position in South Asia weaker in the future.

India has had 4 decades of breathing space with the separation of BD, but soon BD will become a major player in
South Asia and the Indians will just have to get used to it as they may not be able to do anything to stop it.

.
Beside begairat la-hasina and raw paid Awami fasiq dalals, average Bangladeshi Muslims neither consider Bhart as friend nor savior. They are sworn enemy of Muslims. In near future, Bangladeshi will be clean of Bharti chamchas, InshAllah. It's coming-------!!!!

I would like to know the member selected option 1 (if they are Among Bangladeshi).

They were all Indians

I mean the suspense.....it's killing them! :omghaha:

That's silly. All that matters that you can get those weapons, not from where.

Powerful always when compared with BD.

That is about as stupid an argument that can be made.. In military terms what matters is total strength of the economy not per capita. Otherwise Taiwan, Japan & Singapore would be superior to China.

No, it simply cannot do that.

It will allocate a certain amount of resources as large forces will need to be maintained against Pakistan and China, with China being a HUGELY MORE POWERFUL state than India.

You seem to labouring under the impression that Indian economy will remain at a standstill while BD supposedly improves its. That won't be the case. India will be able to have much resources & even a small portion of it will be much bigger than anything BD can hope toput up.
Unless India can keep the relatively India-friendly Awami League in power permanently then India will find it's
position in South Asia weaker in the future.

More wet dreams. No sense.

India has had 4 decades of breathing space with the separation of BD, but soon BD will become a major player in
South Asia and the Indians will just have to get used to it as they may not be able to do anything to stop it.

We certainly don't want to see BD be anything but successful. We wish BD the very best. It is chaps like you with your crazy ranting about taking on India that are BD's enemies , not us.

.
They were all Indians

I mean the suspense.....it's killing them! :omghaha:

I wish millions of refuge who saved their life because of Indian support can that...

Can what? Are you a Bengali refugee still in India's vote banks? That is just sad.

Face it, you people on PDF are an insecure bunch accounting the majority of PDFers. A nobody but a school of fishes.

LOL you are still harping on your 4 decades behind nonsense?! (btw now it became 4 decades or is it just that you have forgotten your math?)

And no ( am stating this again), when you are talking about per capita, PPP paints a more realistic picture. And according to IMF estimates BD would not even surpass Pakistan in 2018

.
I would be surprised if anybody does. No self-respecting Bangladeshi hangs around a Pakistani forum.

Well, if that's the case, then what kind of an Indian are you by hanging around in a "Pakistani forum"? What kind of Indians are they by hanging around here who alone account for the majority here?

Another case of glorious stupidity and imbecility coming from the Indians of PDF.

Everybody give this boy a medal.
