welll i just got a news from a video on BBC That British PM gordon Brown saying that Oman is seriously interested in eurofighter typhoon if it is true than it will be second country in middle east after saudi arabia to get this state of the art jet more probleum for israeli F 15 and F 16 is coming

We should go for Oman's 12 F-16s after Typhon is delivered. I hope that someone in PAF is looking at this option.

no oman never sells them becoz they just got their batch of F 16 few years back why we start loooking for uae saudis or omani F 16 they just bought why they sellll these countries not going to use one type of jet only i mean no way if they get EF than they will sell F 16 still is ausum fighter jet

The problem with middle east is that there are a number of small but wealthy countries ruled by Royal families, and the countries ( the ruling family) always have some disputes with neighbouring countries, when one country goes for high tech stuff the others have to follow to keep the equation balanced, its more of a show of power without a desire to use it. More over they get shivers down their spine looking at Israiel as it has always had aggressive intentions against its neighbours and the stories of a Greater Isreail which would be formed on many midd-east countries including some part of Saudi Arabia has played a part in the arms race in midd-east.

I can guarantee you that the Middle East is heading for a re-shuffle of cards within the next 0-15 years. We WILL see regime changes and a new conflict with Israel.
