From wiki - In 1947, the Khan of Kalat reportedly acceded to the dominion of India. But his accession papers were returned by Jawaharlal Nehru, the Prime Minister of India. As a result, Kalat joined Pakistan on the agreement that defence, currency, foreign office and finance will be controlled by the federal govt but that the rest the province will control by itself. However, after death of Muhammad Ali Jinnah, formation of one unit changed this situation and it was merged into Pakistan like other areas.

After independence from the British, Balochistan has not experienced much development. Due to historical poverty as result of its geographic location and royalties formula which benefits only a few tribal leaders, it has developed at a much slower rate than other parts of Pakistan.

Since Pakistan's independence, Baloch nationalist groups and the Provincial government have been in conflict, the Balochistan conflict.

2. India assimilate Jammu and Kashmir and Deccan.
3. BahawalPur went to Pakistan, India could have assimilated it into indian union.

But above all most Important thing is Pakistan recognized the independence of KALAT..

Actually...i would be really surprised and disappointed if India does not do it...

We have lot to gain from this..most of all- telling Pakistan to keep their hands of Kashmir..

And also a neutral balochistan even if not friendly will be a great asset for economic interests in middle east and central asia..

Well I think your nation is already doing that.However any major military action would be nothing short of suicide on part of India - Would you be willing to let Delhi/Mumbai and other major Indian Centers nuked for Baluchistan (Which in any case is part of Pakistan)..Because i know Pakistan won't mind sacrificing our country just to main the integrity that's why we got nuclear weapons after 1971.Never again will we let anyone harm the integrity of Pakistan we'll die fighting but will never let you guys win another war.We'll nuke the sh!t of your sh!tty country.

Actually...i would be really surprised and disappointed if India does not do it...

US should have more interest in Balochistan, as it'll provide them passage to Afghanistan and we should do our part in their endevour, but we should stay behind the curtain.

After Independence Indian stand was clear, Either you become part of indian Union, or we will make you. While Pakistan played different card. Pakistan was formed in name of ISLAM, so the binding force was religion. And many Pakistani member claim that nation concept is secondary in Islam. (Coz when Islam was formed Nation state concept was not there, nation state concept emerge during French revolution and English Magnacarta).

Pakistan allowed princely state/tribal belt keep there identity and help pakistan to grow. Things were fine for few decades. Then came Mr Bhutto, he wanted a strong Pakistan with power centered at Punjab . He abolished old pact and try to make a central power. Bengali ppl saw it as betrayal. they felt cheated, This is not the pakistan Mr Jinna told them..

Same goes to Balochistan, Baloch ppl opposed Punjabi hegemony. Poor Baloch, they had no support, they were mascaraed in thousand, Iran didn't helped them. Where as on eastern front, India suffered the pressure of million and million of refugees. India beg to the world to take care of refugees, USA closed her eye and ignored our pain (A poor nation India feeding million of refugee).

India Cut pakistani Supply line and MuktiWahini won the war. Pakistani should be grateful to us for saving there 90,000 Soldiers. J R Jacob mention "On one incident Muktiwahini wanted to kill the Pakistani Generals, I told them, if they will touch them Indian soldiers will kill MuktiWahini".
