NSG team to travel to Bangladesh to study terror strikes

This NSG team from India is coming to BD to collect and analyse the two recent terror attacks. Their mission is not for a joint training that you have assumed in your post.

Wonder why this report has been "leaked" out? It is an open secret in BD that NSG and SFF personnel have been here for a while now. They guard SHW and conduct all kinds of dirty ops wearing RAB uniform. They operate totally outside the admin/command channels of GOB and its agencies. The only person keeping touch is Def Advisor Gen Tareq. They are quartered in the PM's house, RAB barracks, IHC Complex and in some safe houses arranged by RAW.
