RAW operative uses Awami League issue government ID to get through security and government. Many of political killings are done in coordination with Awami RAB, Police and military intel.

There is nothing controversial and is rather commonplace for major intel agencies all over the world, the CIA's SAD and US Army's CAG operates in a similar manner. It is SG who are the ones responsible for snatching and presenting many wanted personalities at Indian borders whether it be from Nepal, Bhutan or BD.

The Indian High Commission has dismissed a report as rumour that the country will send bomb experts to Bangladesh to help investigate the two recent terror attacks in the country.







“It’s absolutely a rumour,” an Indian High Commission spokesperson told bdnews24.com on Thursday.

bdnews24.com contacted the high commission after Indian station NDTV reported, quoting officials, earlier in the day that the country would send a team of National Security Group (NSG) bomb experts to Bangladesh.

It reported the team would ‘analyse and study’ the bombings at an Eid prayer gathering in Kishoreganj on Thursday and the terror siege at a Dhaka cafe last Friday.

A group of attackers hurled homemade bombs at a police team and attacked them with machetes, triggering an exchange of fire near a mass gathering for Eid prayers in Kishoreganj on Thursday morning.

Two policemen and a housewife died in the attack. A suspected attacker was also killed and another was captured with bullet wounds.

The attack came days after terrorists shot and hacked to death 20 people, mostly foreigners, at a Dhaka cafe.

Two policemen, who tried to enter the cafe in the initial hours of the siege, died from bombs hurled by the attackers.

After the cafe attack, a highly-placed source in the government said Bangladesh was taking the help of a friendly country in the investigation into the carnage.

Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal has also said the country was taking the help of a friendly neighbouring country to control militancy.

তৈরি ‘রিজার্ভ বেঞ্চ’। শুধু সুযোগের অপেক্ষা।
সন্ত্রাস কৌশলের যে চিরাচরিত ছকের সঙ্গে পরিচত ছিলেন ভারত-বাংলাদেশের গোয়েন্দারা, গুলশন কাফে নড়িয়ে দিয়েছে সেই ভিতটি। গত শুক্রবারের ঘটনার তদন্তে যে তথ্য উঠে আসছে, তাতে স্বস্তির কোনও কারণ দেখছে না নয়াদিল্লি। গত এক সপ্তাহ ধরে তদন্ত চালিয়ে দেখা গিয়েছে, একটি বড়সড় রিজার্ভ বেঞ্চ প্রস্তুত হয়ে রয়েছে ঢাকা শহরের ১৫ কিলোমিটার বৃত্তের মধ্যে। তাৎপর্যপূর্ণ ভাবে হামলার জন্য প্রস্তুত হওয়া এই জঙ্গিরা বয়সে তরুণ, সমাজের উপরতলার প্রতিনিধি, সুশিক্ষিত, ইংরেজি ও কম্পিউটার প্রযুক্তিতে তুখোড়। গুলশন হামলায় এক জন বাদে বাকিরা যেমন উচ্চশিক্ষিত ছিল তেমনি গতকাল যে তিন সন্দেহভাজন আইএস যুবক ভিডিওতে বাংলাদেশে বৃহত্তর সন্ত্রাস চালানোর হুমকি দিয়েছে, তারাও যথেষ্ট শিক্ষিত বলে জানা গিয়েছে।
এই পরিস্থিতিতে আজ ভারত থেকে ন্যাশনাল সিকিউরিটি গার্ড-এর (এনএসজি) চার সদস্য ঢাকা উড়ে গিয়েছেন। গুলশন কাণ্ডে কী ধরনের বিস্ফোরক ব্যবহার করা হয়েছিল তা খতিয়ে দেখবে ওই দলটি। পরবর্তীকালে প্রয়োজন হলে তদন্ত ও জঙ্গি দমনে হাতেকলমে সাহায্য পাঠানোর ব্যাপারেও ভেবে দেখা হচ্ছে। পাশাপাশি, খতিয়ে দেখা হবে ওই দেশে ভারতীয় হাই কমিশন-সহ অন্য ভারতীয় ভবনের সুরক্ষার বিষয়টিও। গুলশন ও আজকের কিশোরগঞ্জের মতো হামলা যে অদূর ভবিষ্যতে আরও ঘটতে চলেছে এ বিষয়ে বাংলাদেশ প্রশাসনকে ফের একদফা সতর্ক করেছে নয়াদিল্লি। ভারত জানিয়েছে, ঢাকার মতো বড় শহর ছাড়াও কিশোরগঞ্জ মডেলে ছোট ছোট জমায়েতের উপর হামলা চালিয়ে নিজেদের উপস্থিতি জানান দেবে জঙ্গিরা। সম্প্রীতি নষ্ট করতে হামলা চালানো হবে সংখ্যালঘু সম্প্রদায়ের উপরেও। ভারত-বাংলাদেশ জঙ্গি দমন সমন্বয়কে অকেজো করে দেওয়াটাও লক্ষ্য সন্ত্রাসবাদীদের।
গুলশন কাণ্ডের আগে থেকেই বাংলাদেশে ধরপাকড় চালু রয়েছে। ভারতীয় গোয়েন্দাদের আশঙ্কা, পরিকল্পিত ভাবে জেলগুলিতে বিশৃঙ্খলা সৃষ্টির চেষ্টা হবে। এমনকী, টালমাটালের সুযোগে জামাতপন্থী নেতাদের ছাড়িয়ে নিয়ে যাওয়ার ছক কষাও হচ্ছে বলে জানা গিয়েছে। বর্তমানে জেলে রয়েছে যুদ্ধাপরাধী মীর কাশেম আলি, যার ফাঁসির দণ্ডাদেশ হয়ে রয়েছে। মিডিয়া টাইকুন এই কাশেম আলিকে ছাড়াতে পাকিস্তান পর্যন্ত প্রবল সক্রিয়। গোয়েন্দাদের একাংশের ধারণা, গুলশন কিশোরগঞ্জের মতো ছোট-বড় ঘটনা ঘটিয়ে দেশে অস্থিরতা তৈরি করে এই ফাঁসি পিছিয়ে দেওয়ারও কৌশল রয়েছে।
গতকালই বাংলাদেশে ফের হামলা চালানোর হুমকি দেওয়া ভি়ডিও সামনে এসেছে, যা বর্তমান তদন্তের ক্ষেত্রে অত্যন্ত গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বলেই মনে করা হচ্ছে। ভিডিওতে যে তিনটি যুবককে দেখা যাচ্ছে তারা উচ্চশিক্ষিত। বাংলাদেশ প্রশাসন সূত্রের খবর, এদের তিন জনের প্রথম জন মেজর ওয়াশিকুর আজাদের ছেলে তুষার আজাদ, যে পেশায় দন্ত চিকিৎসক, আদমজী ক্যান্টনমেন্ট পাবলিক স্কুল থেকে মাধ্যমিক এবং রাজউক থেকে উচ্চমাধ্যমিক পাশ করে। বারিধারার বাসিন্দা এই তুষার ২০১১ সালে বিয়ে করে বাংলাদেশের মডেল নায়লা নাইমকে। অবশ্য কয়েক বছরের মধ্যেই তাদের ছাড়াছাড়ি হয়ে যায়।
দ্বিতীয় জন ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের ছাত্র তৌফিক হুসেন এবং তৃতীয় জন টেলিভিশনে গানের শো-তে নাম করা তাহমিদ রহমান সাফি। এই তাহমিদ হল বাংলাদেশের প্রাক্তন নির্বাচন কমিশনারের ছেলে। ঢাকার নতরদাম কলেজ থেকে উচ্চ মাধ্যমিক পাশের পর ব্র্যাক থেকে বিবিএ ও পরে এমবিএ করেছে। পরে মোবাইল ফোন অপারেটর হিসেবে গ্রামীণ ফোনে চাকরি নেয় ওই যুবক। ২০১১ সালের পর সেখান থেকে ইস্তফা দেয়। একটি সরকারি সূত্রের মতে, কয়েক বছর আগে বাবার কাছে আইএসে যোগ দেওয়ার ইচ্ছা জানায় সে। বাবা শুনে আঁতকে ওঠেন। অনুমতি ছাড়াই স্ত্রী-কে নিয়ে সিরিয়ায় পাড়ি দেয় তাহমিদ।
এই ঘটনাগুলি বুঝিয়ে দিচ্ছে, কী ভাবে ঝকঝকে, শিক্ষিত তরুণদের মৌলবাদের দীক্ষায় দীক্ষিত করা হচ্ছে সুপরিকল্পিত ভাবে। গোয়েন্দা সূত্রের খবর, এই কাজে আইএস বিশেষ ভাবে সাহায্য নিয়েছে আনসারুল্লা বাংলা টিম-এর (এবিটি)। গোয়েন্দারা বলছেন, এ ক্ষেত্রে আইএসের লক্ষ্যই শিক্ষিত যুবকেরা। যারা চিহ্নিত, পরিচিত মোল্লাতন্ত্রের প্রতিনিধি নয়। ঝকঝকে উর্বর মস্তিষ্ক, ইংরেজিভাষী যুবক। যারা খালি চোখে সন্দেহের আওতায় থাকবে না। সাধারণত মাদ্রাসা শিক্ষিত, সমাজের নিম্নবর্গীয়রাই জামাতের ক্যাডার হয়ে থাকেন। এদেরকে চিহ্নিত করা সোজা। তাই রণকৌশল পাল্টে এখন শিক্ষিত যুবকদেরও দলে টানার পরিকল্পনা নেওয়া হয়েছে। এবিটি মূলত বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের কম্পিউটার শিক্ষিত যুবকদের জিহাদের তালিম দিয়ে থাকে। উদ্দেশ্য, ভবিষ্যতে মৌলবাদকে সোশ্যাল মিডিয়ার মাধ্যমে ছড়িয়ে দেওয়া।
গুলশন কাণ্ডের তদন্ত প্রশ্নে আমেরিকার পাশাপাশি টোকিও নিয়মিত ভাবে যোগাযোগ রাখছে ভারতের সঙ্গে। বিদেশমন্ত্রক সূত্রের খবর, দীর্ঘ কয়েক বছর ধরে জাপান সন্ত্রাস প্রশ্নে গয়ংগচ্ছ মনোভাব নিয়েই চলছিল। এমনকী, বিভিন্ন বহুপাক্ষিক বৈঠকে সন্ত্রাসবাদের প্রসঙ্গটি তুললেও এত দিন সে ভাবে গা করতে দেখা যায়নি তাদের। কিন্তু গুলশন কাণ্ডে জাপানি নাগরিকদের হত্যার পর প্রবল আতঙ্কে টোকিও। গত বছর জাপানের সঙ্গে ভারতের সন্ত্রাসবিরোধী মেকানিজমের কথা হয়। কিন্তু তা বিশেষ এগোয়নি। কিন্তু এ বারে সেই মেকানিজমকে কার্যকরী করার জন্য ভারতকে অনুরোধ জানিয়েছে জাপান।

1) This operation was carried out by the RR, not NSG
2) it had been the CRPF who had been the first on the scene and that had entered the building (later pulling out and calling in the army)
3)The first objective had been to ensure there were no civlians in the building (notice not a single innocent life was lost) and to create a cordon so that no terrorists could escape
4) it was only then that the SF teams had been sent in (about 20 hours into the terrorists entering) and by all accounts they did a fine job faced with an entrenched, well motivated and supplied enemy who held the high ground.

Ordinarily, the RR's playbook is to try and wear down the enemy so as to caputure them alive and glean valuble intel, however IIRC, in this incident the local commanders had faced a local hostile population thus requiring a more aggressive action plan (SF intervention).

The sad part in this whole operation is we lost 3 men from PARA SF. I know causalities are part of any ops but loosing so much men from such elite units in a single ops will definitely be a good PR for the terrorists .Also the army termed it as a one complex operation hope PARA SF has done a detailed study of such ops and the necessary course correction is made .Don't you feel the pro activeness is missing on even in our elite forces where they haven't trained to complete such complex scenario's with less causalities ? I have a felling that the PA is always a step ahead in training these guys compared to our forces
