That's what I am saying. You deserve a Japan tech.
I agree, we deserve it

The Bombay-Ahmedabad rail corridor is one of country's busiest. I expect a lot of businesses in the region to grow, as more and more same-day return business trips are made, much faster. I for sure as hell would use HSR over what I think is the slightly more inconvenient option i.e intercity flights.

Hypothetically speaking, let's say this HSR will be built in India (doesn't matter if its Japanese or Chinese technology). Do you think the Indian public will take advantage of this wonderful tech? Will you guys use it?

With not even a single accident in almost 50 years of operation (since 1964, when first Bullet trains were introduced), speaks for itself. yes it doesnot rival Maglevs in speed, but that is an entirely different technology and not suitable for really long distance travels.India deserves what is the best for India, and the one that profits her the most in the longterm.

LOL ... where the China projects is, there will be Chinese companies / workers / engineers ... this building tradition won't change in India too. If done, just watch Chinese coming to India. There is nothing wrong in taking Chinese help to build high speed railways. Where you are mistaken is that all the engineers will be Chinese. You will need to tie-up with an Indian partner. Somebody like an L&T or Reliance to take forward the project. They have the expertise to turn something around like this. While Chinese engineers will be involved, I do not see them being involved the same way they would in Africa.
Im sorry that's why India need China building HSR, coz ur locomotive run slowly & easily break down in old railway.I'm sorry if your trains break down the way the pak locos did then it's actually more expensive for us.
We do not care what India have, just prepare 32billion USD then Chinese will take it to pay ur HSR project.High speed rail is not that much of a technical leap for us. It's a new field where we'll get training on the manifacturing side. The model will be that of Metro projects we're running (like with Bombardier) . We'll have a JV with BEML which will train engineers in China and jointly set up production facilities. Like Bombardier The Chinese engineers might be there for technical help until the full plant operations are established. The civil engineering will be entirely Indian from start to finish (majority of the 32 B will go there). In the end the production will have to move to 100% Indian like we did for Bombardier- even the head is an Indian. In any case this'll go to the Japs coz they're more mature in this.

LOL ... when u see pics of 2005.04.30 Shinkansen incident killed 107 passangers in Japan, This world no any 100% safe high-speed train, all killed dozens of ppl in different HSR incidents ...With not even a single accident in almost 50 years of operation (since 1964, when first Bullet trains were introduced), speaks for itself. yes it doesnot rival Maglevs in speed, but that is an entirely different technology and not suitable for really long distance travels.
